Lovely food, a fair amount of seating. Good number of attentive staff to keep service good. Countryside charm.

The Crown at Pewsey is a proper old-school local’s pub, with a real fire and welcoming bar staff and locals. This is a lovely pub, and just a 5-minute walk from the station (down an alley). It also has a fantastic range of well-kept local ales. Worth getting off the train for!
