We waited an hour for our food! When there was only 1 other table in the pub, we had one meal from the specials board and it was tiny! And so not worth the £16 we were charged! We won?t be back.

Went for roast dinner today! It was the best roast I have had in a long time!! Food was super hot and so much of it I could not finish it!! Will definitely return!!

If you?re fresh out of prison! This Roast is for you! It was one of the worst roast dinners I?ve had and it was £35 for the privilege! How company?s get away from serving a meal like that is beyond me! Stay away from the roasts and go for something else as that?s literally god awful! Codfarther are miles better and that?s take away also

Lovely pub and very good food nicely presented. This pub is a real find. Make the effort to go here, it is very much worth it.

We never leave reviews and never complain about food but our experience was so poor we felt that it was needed. We came after a day out expecting good pub food instead of poor quality at an amusement place. We were very disappointed. The food appears to be warmed up especially my toddlers mash and beans and the nuggets were dry and pale. The burgers very extremely basic and bland. I am still quite shocked and surprised given the price also

First time being back for a quite a few years. It was pretty quiet when we went but Ben the Barman was very friendly and helpful. My friend and I had a lovely couple of hours sat in the beer garden enjoying the weather and watching the alpacas, sheep and ponies in the fields in front of us. The food was fresh, hot and fantastic crispy chips and onion rings. The landlady, I sorry I forgot your name, was very welcoming and we will def be back again in next few weeks.

Not a place I would go and eat again but a nice garden for a summer evening drink. Waited ages for food , we were a group of 6 with 2 children. Steak was asked a med and a med rare both came very well done , the mushrooms were cremated and the salad was swimming in vinaigrette.
Would definitely recommend for a quiet drink in the garden thougb

Been visiting this pub since 2011 and eating regularly for birthdays, family meals and occasions.
Visited 3 weeks ago for a birthday and food was okay, very scattered serving and few people waiting longer than others (table of 6 & 2 children)
We decided to give it another ago for another birthday celebration yesterday - again same table size. Food was quite poor, portion sizes were better but quality had fallen a fair amount, we left quite disappointed.
On a positive, the staff have always been polite & friendly. Lovely beer garden!

Have not visited this pub since well before covid but was passing and called in..Lovely girl behind the bar that informed us of all the menu's which there was alot of choice..I chose 1/2 chicken with peas and mash and my husband a steak pie..very generous portions that filled us up..very quiet as it was a weds evening but we enjoyed our meal.
