Stopped off for a snack whilst on a journey. There was no menu on display and once shown our seats we felt obliged to buy something! The food was nice but expensive for what it was.

My bladder said stop as we headed West. So glad we saw the signs. Friendly reception, comfortable seating and a Dorset Cream Tea to die for. If passing, pretend you need a wee. Not cheap, but so worth it.

I've been coming here since the cafe opened and never written a review but it really deserves praise! the staff are so friendly, and although the lunch menu is fairly limited, everything is delicious, freshly prepared and good value. Great coffee and cakes too, all served in attractive surroundings. Even more fun in the summer to sit outside which is dog friendly. A lovely place to meet friends or stop off from the A303. I can also recommend the washing up brushes which although a bit more expensive than the brand leaders, are very long lasting and come in a pleasing variety of colours. My latest one is still looking good after more than a year in use.

Very nice interior but if you allow dogs then it would be beneficial to keep the restaurant area free of dog hair and mopped at the end of each day. Very expensive sausage rolls for the size of them. The coffee was nice but cost over £23 to have a coffee and sausage roll each!

Absolutely super lunch, with excellent service in a beautiful place. Had butternut and lomon grass soup with a small delicious toastie on the side of brie and cranberry sauce. We shared a portion of fries between three of us. Even the coffee was lovely. I'd highly recommend this venue and only wish I lived closer. Thank you for a lovely lunch! ?

Quite by chance we happened upon a little piece of heaven. We had no idea what to expect from ?Hillbrush Museum ? and walked into an wonderland exhibition of brushes (you have to see it to believe it). Having chosen items for ourselves, friends and family we went through to the delightful open-plan restaurant. The breakfast menu was our destination and having each selected dishes we sat back and took in the very tasteful environment?and then breakfast arrived!! Served by staff who perpetuated the incredible feel good factor of this gem of a find. We have eaten many breakfasts and both rated this one VERY BEST ever. The eggs Benedict and gluten free full English are to die for. This had to be written and this place has to be visited.

Just off the A303 this restaurant is part of a new factory that makes brushes. There is a museum and shop and lovely restaurant offering a good range of meals. Somewhere different with easy access and parking. Well worth a try.

What a find, less than 1 minute from the A303. Enter the cafe past the smart looking factory and then through the swanky brush and accessories shop. (Not a thing I?d ever thought I?d write). Go past the tempting cakes and a coffee serving station into the smart and immaculate dining area. Staff are really welcoming and welcomed our dog as well as us. What the menu may lack in extensive choice is more than made up by obvious quality. BLT sandwich was as good as a club sandwich as you could expect anywhere - made with real care and tasted delicious. This is not a quick motorway service station experience but a place to linger a bit, to enjoy excellent food and leave well rested for the next half of your journey.Parking: Plenty - next to the entrance

Thought we would pop in for quick coffee and cake thought just sit near the front. No wait to be ordered where to sit follow me seated at the back. Given menu's server walks away look at menu no cakes on there. No server so I walk to front to see the selection of cakes. After sometime a different server asks us are you being served? It feels as if there's some unrequired organization plans for staff. We were served by three people. Coffee was weak coffee and walnut cake was moist but there was half a walnut just on the top. The most expensive place i think I've been. Not much to eat for a normal light lunch. Disgustingly expensive. The service is wooden. The coffee is honest coffee. The most novel bit was the music playing in the ladies. £3 for a sheet of paper and £4.20 for box of matches. Too much hassle

Most expensive burger and cup of tea I?ve ever had. 2 teas 1 chicken burger , and 1 veggie burger £40. This cafe is without atmosphere, the seating uncomfortable and the menu limited Probably the most expensive food i Mere pound for pound. I can also add the brushes are expensive and mediocre , Avoid this cafe, the services are cheaper, Morrisons in Wincanton is 5 minutes down the A303.

Stopped off for breakfast, which was amazing, excellent produce, well cooked and presented with very attentive staff. The little museum and shop all about brushes was very interesting.

We had the most wonderful lunch here en-route to devon. Recommended by a friend who found it in a book. So unique. You should definitely visit here. The food is mouth wateringly tasty. My husband said it was the best burger he had ever tasted. Great atmosphere and staff. Wish we lived nearer as we would be frequent visiter.

Pleasant place to stop, en route west.We opted for the Dorset smoked trout in brioche. At £12.95 (each!) for a small bun with a tiny amount of fish in mayo plus side salad garnish, we were disappointed and felt somewhat ripped off! Expensive! ?
