What a beautiful location and a hidden gem! Great food, great service, and a very interesting museum to boot! Fantastic place for a quick bite to eat, or to see how surprisingly complex the process of brush making is - fascinating! Well worth a visit if you?re nearby, or passing through.

Its been 4 years since I stepped foot in your doors. But as you have now replied to my rating I feel the need to respond with more details.
We live fairly locally, the 2 of us stopped in for a spot of lunch but no table was apparantly available. We were left to browse the shop and the server said she would collect us when a table was ready. After 30-40min of looking at the shop and museum area, watching multiple people come and go, we tried to get the attention of the staff to no avail and gave up. It just felt like we were not wanted there. We decided to go to a lovely little country pub where we were spoiled with beyond excellent service and home cooked dishes. We havent been back to your eattery since. We do remember the food looking and smelling good but thats it. Never going back...

We just stopped for a quick break on our drive and ended up having a very nice lunch. The coffee, sandwiches and soup were very nice, and the kids burger was very tasty. A pleasant surprise along the A303.

Too expensive,no staff smiles, asked if we could take ham out from the dish we wanted but alas no...we could only have exactly what was on the menu...c'mon,couldn't they be a littlemore flexible??

Great little restaurant and cafe. Stopped in to use the facilities and get a coffee. Good parking. Also a shop with every brush you could ever need.

Delicious food, parking right in front of the door and very friendly service. Unfortunately the tables and chairs were not particularly clean. Prices OK.

We chose this place based upon its previous reviews and proximity to the A303. There is lots of spacious parking. The decor is attractive with spotless facilities. We were welcomed and shown to a table promptly, it wasn't a particularly busy Saturday afternoon. The menu was quite varied with pizzas, burgers and brioche rolls. We enjoyed flaked smoked trout brioche 'loaf' (bun) and a savoury cream tea. My only criticism would be the prices which, in my opinion, are exorbitant, come on £3.80 for a small Americano and £13 for a bun without fries!
