Went for a lovely pre-Birthday meal tonight and from start to finish it was amazing. The food was fantastic, flavoursome and presented well. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for your great service it made our night.

Happened to be Mere & spotted ?The Walnut Tree Inn? & stopped for a drink .
The Landlord was very welcoming, viewed the Menu & decided to stay for food .
The meal was excellent, I had the Sea Bass which he recommended it was first rate .
Would recommend anyone driving by to pop in & sample the hospitality.

We love coming to the quiz on a Monday evening. Also went for the carvery this weekend. Was excellent. I?m veggie and the meal was fabulous.

Heading to Devon we wanted to get some lunch. They stop service at 2.30 but kindly kept the kitchen open. Food was excellent as was the ale. Staff top notch too.

Thank you to all the team at The Walnut who hosted our school leavers' event. You looked after us so well. The evening was just brilliant. Hors d'oeuvres and buffet were beautifully presented and very tasty. Students and staff had a great evening. Thank you!
