One of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in the UK. Great attention to detail, quiet room with comfy bed and a huge bathroom with a tub in which to relax and enjoy the evening, cuppa tea in hand ?

Room was lovely, bed was super comfy and check in was very easy. Lovely choice for breakfast. Only problem was finding somewhere to park but this was not a huge problem. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend the cocktail making masterclass.

A charming hotel option in Marlborough. We stayed for a couple of nights at Bank holiday. We were rather taken with the experience. It was lovely. It is an old building. If you don't do old buildings, maybe this isn't for you. There are rooms in a second building next door, so do your research. The place is very Marlborough. It is an old town. If you want new, new, new, pop down to the Premier Inn. The room was at the back and up in the eaves. A very pleasant room. They had taken trouble with the decoration. This place was great value and thoroughly enjoyable. I wasn't sure when I read about breakfast in your room, but it turned out to be lovely. Just different. As the website said, there isn't parking. Rather than inflicting my car on residents of the town, I put it 5 minutes walk up the hill. Easy. You are 30 seconds walk from Marlborough High Street. We loved it. I've been coming through Marlborough for years and it was a total pleasure to finally stay in the place and explore the town. It is lovely. The Kingsbury @ No.8 is the right hotel to stay in for a visit to this lovely old town. We're fans.

Visited The Kingsbury on an extremely hot weekend and we were impressed to have a fan provided in the room and the windows wide open on arrival. The large bathroom and feature bath were a great novelty - the room was well designed with attractive features and furnishings as well as the practical things you need, like plugs near the bed! The bed was comfortable and the room quiet. We enjoyed the Nespresso machine and having read some negative comments about the breakfast, we were actually very impressed, specially with the overnight oats in mini kilner jars. All the information about checking in and what's provided was really clear on the email and texts and the proprietor responded immediately to a small query. Parking seems like a challenge for every establishment in Marlborough - we parked below the high street in a small car park which was only a few minutes' walk away and reasonably priced. One tip: we would advise downloading the MiPermit parking app before you go, in case you need to use a public car park, as data coverage (for Vodafone at least) was patchy and we had to find change to pay because we couldn't make the app download until we went back up to the high street.

Stayed at the lovely Kingsbury no7, the room was cozy yet spacious. Breakfast was fantastic, orange juice was super fresh! We also had a cocktail master class in the Bite Me Restaurant and wow! It was so much fun, the bartenders were both so accommodating and knowledgeable. The food was so great you couldn?t help but order more! Definitely recommend and would 100% come back to stay!

I had booked 3 rooms (No 8) beginning of June using Marlborough as a cycling stop over on our way to Bristol. It was very hot weather at the time. Before we got there they upgraded one of the rooms free of charge to the bathroom en suite as one of the rooms we booked had an electrical fault, which was a nice touch.Bike storage was available but we opted to put our bikes in our rooms as the door could easily be broken into. It was a typical flimsy shed type door.Check in was very easy with the electronic key pad on the main door. Access to the rooms are by combination lock. This part was a bit frustrating as the codes are sent by text, which are buried in paragraphs and paragraphs of instructions with 3 different texts, as I was the main booker. This information could be much better streamlined. All 3 rooms (2,3 and 5) were very clean with great decor and good bathrooms. My friends room 5, which was on top floor had an external bathroom, which I thought was a bit cheeky to be charging the same as the others with en suites. The main issue with our stay was with room 5. With the weather being as hot as it was and with no aircon provided it was almost uninhabitable. No surprise my friend had a terrible stay. The other rooms were hot however was just about manageable with the table fan.I mentioned to the manager the next day that it was very in the rooms, particularly room 5 and the response 'well there's not much we can do about the weather'. I think this is a poor take from a 'boutique hotel' where the foundation of being a hotel is providing reasonable means to make customers as comfortable as possible. Aircon is required and reasonable in this case or just don't make the room available in hot weather.Correspondence from the main owners was very good until I wrote an email detailing our issue and 2 follow ups later there has been no reply at all.I wouldn't recommend staying here in hot weather, during cooler times it would be a good stay, albeit pricey (£115 for each room).

Nice room and easy check in instructions via email. Best shower of my life in Room 1 of No. 8. This room is also very quiet.
