Visited to celebrate my Dads 70th Birthday. A lovely venue with lovely food. Attentive and accommodating staff. They even went to the effort of finding candles for my dad?s birthday cake because we weren?t sure if we could bring any! A lovely little touch! Thank you so much, he had a lovely lunch as did we all! We will definitely be back in future. Thank you so much!

I taken some off my residents for fish and chips on Friday and it was amazing. fresh and very delicious. good for money and the weather was gorgeous thank you all so much

Disappointed, ordered drinks had to wait some time for them to be served. Chicken supreme when served did not appeal garlic potatoes looked and tasted as if had been cooked hours ago.
Salad leaves on a hot plate. ugh.

We met up with friends here whilst on the way to an Airbnb in nearby Pitton for the weekend.We booked for a Friday lunchtime and there was a relaxed yet welcoming atmosphere. The bar/waiting staff were all super friendly, helpful and attentive.We had our dog with us who was allowed in the restaurant and we were shown water and doggy ice cream to keep him happy!The bar staff also remembered our drinks order the 2nd/3rd time which is only a small detail but really makes you feel welcome.Would definitely come back if we?re ever back in the area.

Haven?t even finished eating yet and giving this place 5 stars. Great service, solid prices, could honestly get away with being a little pricier if they wanted to. As an American, for what?s that?s worth, I?ve not been impressed much here. But this place was awesome. I had the steak frites, my wife had the pork belly. All great. Finished off with the sticky toffee desert and it made me mad that we don?t have it in the US, it was incredible. Beer and wine were great as well. I?ll likely never have a chance to eat here again but I would make it a specific place to eat if I ever do!

We are not from the area, but popped in en-route to going back home (Suffolk). We received our food exceptionally quickly and it was excellent quality. The waiting service was the best I have ever experienced anywhere. We were served today by Willis, who was an exceptional waiter. We have eaten out in many places and were taken aback by his high standards of service.
