“What an absolute gem of a find! We stopped in on a whim, and were treated to an absolutely perfect lunch and a pint. The regular menu of home cooked pub classics is amazing, but better still the vegetarian menu is just as good, and extensive to boot. The cask ale we had was brewed onsite by the landlord, and the welcome and service we received was first class; I believe the lady was the publican’s daughter in law. Spring has sprung, but there was still a log fire burning… definitely our kind of pub.”
