Central to the town. Small lift to access the first floor plus stairs. Easily accessible for wheelchairs etc.

Went into pound land looking for a box for a present, unfortunately they were to small, I bought a very pretty blue bag instead.

A little bit of an odd shopping experience but it is Poundland. It probably has about a third of its stock being sold for a pound, the rest is sold for a higher price. Found what I was after though, which was good. Long queue at the checkouts as only a couple of tills open and one of those had two employees chatting as one was on their break.

Going down hill sadly ! Lot of shelves empty, more and more items becoming lot more than a pound, some things dearer than anywhere else. Needs a shake up in there. Parking almost impossible, car parks getting more expensive.

Visited Poundland to get some things for a future holiday. The first thing I found was a Caribbean-type shirt (just right for holidays abroad or cruises) & my wife found a pretty t-shirt, Underwear, white plimsolls, pack of trainer socks & then downstairs some chocolates for a friend & a few useful items and a large, colourful bag to put all of it in for £1. The bill totalled £34 which we thought very good value!

It's a Poundland; not much more to say. Got clothing upstairs (Pep n Co) and the usual assortment downstairs. Price creeping up as with everywhere. Staff are super nice though

Not been in for years so amazed at its variety of contents. If number of shoppers is anything to go by, it's a very popular place.

Still most things a pound amazing, till service a bit slow, I think the bell is broken? Queues seem to be better now and still lots if stuff for a pound, amazing. Good value mobile phone accessories.

Cheap and tawdry with products that threaten public health, draining the NHS of scarce resources.

Why oh why can?t this store get it?s act together and keep 2 tills open toward day end?! There?s ALWAYS a massive queue at that time of day before closing & you can guarantee they?ll be someone in front buying fifty quid?s worth of items, thus holding up the ever growing line of shoppers. Please don?t palm off dodgy pound coins to your customers either! Coins of this nature should be taken out of circulation. The amount of times I?ve had this happen to me previously & not said anything. To then find when I try to use the same for legal tender elsewhere, it won?t be accepted. So, for once, I refused to take a damaged & possibly fake coin. I was then forced to wait several minutes due to being told the utter RUBBISH of not being able to open the till again ?When I was finally handed another £1 coin, admittedly, I could have been more gracious about it instead of sarcastically saying ?thank you? & then proceeding to go outside onto the street & screaming an expletive. However, I?d had enough by this point due to the aforementioned!
