On March 24th, 2023, I had an unpleasant experience at Lloyds bank in Devizes. My purpose for visiting was to exchange some old notes for new ones, as my bank, Monza, does not have any physical branches. Unfortunately, the teller informed me that I needed to be a Lloyds client in order to have my money exchanged. When I explained my situation, I was met with a dismissive and unhelpful response, which left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. The teller simply stated "Well that's your problem, innit" and made no effort to provide any further assistance. Disappointed with this level of customer service, I left Lloyds bank and went to Nationwide bank just around the corner. To my relief, they were happy to assist me immediately, even though I was a client. The experience at Lloyds was unfortunately not my first poor experience with the bank, but it was certainly the final straw. I urge others to seriously consider alternative banks with better track records of customer service, such as Nationwide.

I had previously used this Lloyds Bank in Devizes services and was helped by a beautiful faired haired lady with glasses who was extremely helpful but unfortunately today I was served by this miserable middle aged sour faced lady who found everything I asked for a little too much trouble , I suggest that If she doesn't want to help people DONT WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICES!!!!!!In this period where many high street banks are closing you would think this lady would be greatful this branch is still open and she still has a job that she obviously hates .
