Really lovely place. Walked to it from Chippenham, could easily walk to it from Calne too I reckon. The views from the garden are great, you can make out a white horse on a hill across the valley so long as the tree between here and there doesn't have leaves on it. Only had drinks which were lovely and not very expensive.

Simply amazing! Booked a meal here whilst staying nearby in the Cotswolds. You can definitely tell the food is locally sourced and everything is served fresh. Me and my partner both went for the steak (which was to die for!) a side of and fresh vegetables. Prices were very fair and staff are all very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend visiting, even if its just for drinks to admire the gorgeous view ? Also the homemade BBQ sauce was the best ive ever tried!

Booked for table of 5 (including child with high chair). Arrived, shown straight to table, high chair already there and ready.
Drinks order taken promptly, and given good time to decide on food orders.
Wait for food 15-25 mins.
Food arrived hot and freshly plated. I ordered the Sirloin of beef, which today had been changed to Rib of beef instead, which didn?t matter, as it was perfectly cooked.
Food tasted incredible. Ordered one of each of the sides on the Sunday menu, and will absolutely highly recommend the Parmesan and Leek gratin!
Service was incredible, unfortunately cannot name the lovely lady who took care of us as I?ve forgotten her name, oops!
