I have loved going for coffee each week at the Green house. I loved the warm bright colours and the unique paintings of trees and views on the walls. Everything was so well put together. After your revamp we have meaningless pictures on the walls. Very bland walls and the chairs near the bar mean you have to sit up straight. No support for your back and definitely not pleasant. Suddenly your floor looks big and empty. Now it looks like a lounge in an old people's home. I think this was change for change sake. I feel quite sad it was my happy place.

Went with my husband today at around 2pm. We were seated promptly and food arrived with not much wait. The food was lovely and well presented. All the staff were very friendly too. We will definitely be coming back soon

Met a friend for coffee hereThere was a residents meeting happening..we moved to the restaurant so we could chat..and after a while.. were politely asked to * ahem- keep the noise down!*That made us guffaw as we were merely just chatting!The coffee is good..but sadly its put me off returning ..maybe a note on the door advising there's a chat about mobility equipment happening would have been an idea!

Jan24- last time I visited was 5 years ago.It's changed! It was being built and now it's retirement village is built and more building.The staff are few and takes a while to be served but food was good when it arrived. They clearly look after their elderly people.Smart, tidy, not as expensive as I recall but not inexpensive either.We had scampi and chips and a drink £10+
