We took in a car key as a battery had died. We had 1 working key fob and 1 not working. We left with that after 3 follow ups later! The member of staff had a breakdown and cried to us how stressful it all was and how much they hate their job. We still only have 1 working fob now and will have to spend money elsewhere after a hack job that saw one of our car keys come back to us in pieces! Please do NOT get your car keys cut or repaired here unless you want it back in pieces or to give staff a nervous breakdown.

I had 3 pairs of shoes with heels replaced. One pair also had soles replaced. I spent £85. When i picked up my shoes they were not cleaned and polished. You would have thought they would have been. Wherever I have taken my shoes in the past they always have been. Timpson claims family values and tradition! Obviously not. I will not be returning. Very disappointing.

Went here to find the shop front pulled down...not all the way.
If you are working on your own and need a break put a note up so customers know when you will return....it's called common sense.

I got Timsons to cut me several keys £46 worth and the lady was very polite, when I got home 3 of the keys were the wrong cut. I returned to the shop the next day and explained the situation to the same lady who became absolutely dismissive blaming meshe was rude when cut she threw the keys on the counter and totally ignored me so so rude.......!!!!!!!!!

Had car key replacement & cut this included changing the security device inside fob. This was for a Mazda 2 unfortunately they couldn?t get the remote to function but the key operation worked fine, however the fob was a different kettle of fish. It broke apart on the first day of use. Not a strong enough fob. Timpson operative apologised and ordered a second fob but again this only lasted about the same time. Gave up then. The staff were friendly and helpful I?ve used Timpsons in previous situations and all has worked well.
