Room was clean and spacious. However, getting to it was a bit of a trek along long corridors which were like a maze. I had a meal deal consisting of dinner and breakfast in the adjoining Brewers Fayre, I arrived there at 8pm after booking a table at reception to a long queue, as there was only one member of staff at the bar who also had to take the food orders. They were clearly understaffed, as the table I sat at had a whole selection of empty glasses that hadn't been cleared away. There were no napkins or knifes and forks. The meal offer included 2 courses and a drink, I chose a burger and chips (luckily finger food as no cutlery!) and a sundae, the dessert being bigger than the main meal! It was very quiet at night, and after a good night's sleep I headed back for breakfast. Still no knifes and forks unfortunately, so this time had to ask for some. Cooked breakfast - baked beans very runny, mushrooms sat in some liquid, hash browns baked to cinder and crusty. Only scrambled eggs available and as it was very busy and you had to queue for the buffet style food, I didn't try again to see if fried eggs were available. I like my bacon crispy, but this was too dried out. Sausages were the only food that tasted ok. Pain au chocolat and croissants were ok, but unfortunately no strawberry jam available to eat with the croissant. All in all it would probably been cheaper and better quality to go to Morrisons opposite and get something from their bakery. Would I come here again? No, I don't think so.

Well situated for access and travelling with really good, very helpful, staff. The building itself, and the room we were in, was tired, gloomy, and in need of a major makeover. The adjacent Brewers Fayre was even worse. Dark, dated, with greasy worn out carpets and flaking paint. The evening meal choice was barely adequate .The tables were sticky and had to be wiped before we could eat. Breakfast was better with fresh fruit, natural , organic yoghurt and the usual hot food choices , although the scrambled egg was watery and unappealing. The hotel and restaurant were a disappointment compared with other Premier Inns that we have stayed in.

My first ever Premier Inn, and if this is anything to go by, certainly not my last. A clean, comfortable room, large double bed and coffee and tea facilities in the room. Considering the Cotswold location, a bargain. Also, special shout out to the lovely staff. Some more expensive hotel chains could learn from them.

The room was an unbearable 30 degrees all night. Unfortunately no sleep all night! I was forced to leave the hotel at 2am to get some air outside. I ended up sleeping in the car. I did however return to the room at 5am, it was still ridiculously warm. I was surprised that there was no air conditioning in this hotel.

No disabled parking spots available. No lifts to upper floor. Eating place on the property UGH. At breakfast leftover food and cutlery on the floor from previous day - staff apologized that cleaners had not been in. When the main crowd arrived for breakfast the unfortunate reception staff looked overwhelmed by the backup. Our very pleasant table cleaner was seen cleaning rooms at this time - STAFFING PROBLEM?

Lovely experiences, being in the area, visit this one base on a recommendation as other hotel has been fully booked. Had great stay, staff were really helpful. Everyone is so welcoming. Premier plus rooms worth the extra

Hotel very adequate Restaurant needs urgent attention in all departments Inexperienced staff, food mediocre, everything needs cleaning, cups crockery tables chairs bar A major makeover is required if a major disaster is to be avoided The toilets require major attention A visit to the local McDonalds will demonstrate the cleaning standards required

Myself and several other members of my choir stayed here to attend the Mid Somerset Music Festival as we wanted a reasonably priced, good value stay within reach of Bath. My stay was just what I wanted and the room had everything I needed, was quiet and I was able to run through my music in the afternoon when I arrived. I had lunch in the restaurant and started the weekend off well as I felt relaxed.
