I bought 2 fish 4 days ago and there dead bought another 2 fish today and 1 is now dead again so far nearly £40 gone on fish and not lasting a week I?ve tested the water everything checks out no issues whatsoever aquarium has sufficient oxygen and a filter suitable I believe it?s just a matter of time till the last fish goes to fishy heaven not saying there is but there could potentially be underlying health issues with the fish in pah won?t be buying anymore from there

I wouldn?t bother going here if your looking to purchase an animal/ rabbits, they force you to buy 2 when pets at home policy is that they would rather you take the pair but if you physically cannot take both for any reason they can sell you the one rabbit, but here they won?t, I had a rabbit at home needing a friend so I just needed one rabbit and they wouldn?t sell me one they were forcing me to buy both or none, customer service are absolutely awful and rude, pets at home Swindon bridgemead is the best to go to

Took our 1 year old border collie x harrier hound in today to get some new treats and some other bits. A lovely girl who I didn't catch the name of but I know she's 19 helped us find him a brand new collar. A halti for training to help stop pulling and some brand new toys. We just want to say thank you. I'm sorry we didn't catch your name but hopefully you'll recognise this through our dogs name toro as you said it was unique!

Good selection of pet supplies, the rabbit treats are improving but still too small hutches are on sale, it would be a real benefit to animal welfare if places like this promoted actual understanding of small animals needsThe staff here are always helpful and greet you with a smile, happy to shop here on these grounds, would just prefer a better corporate approach to animal welfare

Went to look at rabbits and pick up cat food.They had one rabbit in stock which came to a surprise to the staff member. He said they should have two because they only sell in pairs, but there was one rabbit to the bemusement of the staff member and he admitted they must have sold a solo one at some point, breaking their own rules.Upon handling the rabbit, I was shocked tk see how a staff member picked it up. Squeezing it and putting it under quite a lot of distress. They also had no information on the rabbit so were unable to tell me the gender.We then went to look for some cat food and their stocks were awful. We left, not buying cat food because they didn't have any dairy free which my cats need. You'd think a stand alone pet store might have stocks to suit customers needs.

Shocking the old bloke was trying to tell me my dog would be ok on the Staffordshire bull terrier Ava food , he asked how much my dog weighed 47kg at 8 months his reply yes he would be fine, your dog a American bully falls under the staffy breed , After speaking to another member of staff she even said herself, your dog is not part of the staffy breed and this Ava food would not be good as it?s not meant for large breed dogs he has no knowledge of are products and very little knowledge of dog breeds ,, and most customers complain about him ,, tells you everything

Awkward to say the least, never answer the phone, care plans are always late as you have to find a way to contact them to get your pets flee/worm when it should be sent out automatically. Not worth the £15 a month

Under staffed and under knowledged.I switched to paying more for goods in the local independent because I got fed up of the constant roller coaster of quality in the goods from P@H and the bordering empty shelves. Asking for advice is like drawing blood from a stone, and what advice you are given is usually against how the store is setup for the animals, or if someone does tell you as per the store setup then the next shop you enter and discuss gives you a completely differing and closer to published guidelines standard than P@H ever have.
