I?ve been a loyal M&S customer for quite a while and have always appreciated the quality of both products and service. However, during my most recent visit, I experienced something that left me feeling quite uncomfortable.
After selecting a few items and heading to the checkout, the cashier ? a man wearing glasses ? asked me, ?Any fuel?? I replied, ?No.? He then proceeded to activate the body camera on his chest and repeated the question, saying, ?Just to clarify, any fuel?? Again, I responded, ?No.?
The way this was handled made me feel uneasy, as if I were being suspected of something. It was an awkward and unnecessary interaction that didn?t align with the customer experience I?ve come to expect from M&S.
I hope M&S considers offering better training to staff on how to communicate with customers in a way that maintains trust and avoids creating tension. I?m sharing this feedback because I genuinely care about the brand and want to see the service remain respectful and welcoming for everyone.

The lady in the store was more interested in what she was doing rather than serving anyone neither did she offer me any sugar with my coffee that she seemed to not want to make. why is the store even open

On the 15th May, at 3pm, we paid at Till No 3. Outside we checked the receipt, conscious that we had bought several deals and wanting to be sure that we'd received savings on these promos. We found a discrepancy of several pounds so returned to the till. We were helped by a young , dark-haired man who was friendly, patient and went to a good deal of trouble to trace the scanning problem and put it right. We don't know your name but would like to say, 'thank you.'

Staff attentive friendly helpful and polite, only popped in for a box of chocolates, place was clean, bright and cheerful.

Great little shop but I have to say I found it extremely rude when I approached the till with a smile on my face and the woman serving ignores me when I say hello, turns to speak to the other woman behind the till and continues on to discuss trivial things leaving me standing there feeling silly after being given the cold shoulder.. If you have no customer service skills donâ??t work in customer care.
