Really really accommodating and welcoming. Accepted our walk in on a Sunday, staff couldn?t do enough for us. Just let down by ordering the vegan option, stating specifically vegan and it came with sausages wrapped in bacon, they took it back but didn?t fill me with confidence. Also had Yorkshire puddings on which were definitely not vegan, makes me question that the carrots weren?t honey roasted? I know it?s a dietary lifestyle choice than a serious allergen but most people would have no accepted this and made more of a point about it..

The Nepalese chicken wings were amazing. The beer was good too.
The only reason I gave 3 stars for atmosphere is simply because it was early afternoon on a Tuesday and there weren't many people around.
I will definitely go back later in the week for a curry, I'll keep you posted.
Also, dog friendly.

We'd had a long journey and were tired and hungry. The staff graciously kept the kitchen open for us, and boy was it worth it, the food was delicious. I can not thank the staff enough, the lovely gentleman who spoke to the chef for us and Kiera, who looked after us.

Beers bloody lovely and not as expensive as other pubs in the area. The staff are absolutely amazing especially the chefs the food is delicious. Best pub for miles in my opinion

Great food and service. It was a quiet Monday when we last went, but have been before at busier time. The staff are friendly and alway on hand. Nothing is too much trouble.

A return to this lovely pub for my mums birthday.
Staff were lovely, attentive, and helpful.
Sunday roasts were good and plentiful.
Head chef had prepared a special treat for mum. He wasn't working today, so we couldn't thank him personally, unfortunately.

Had a fantastic lunch here today.
We had fish burger and chicken burger.
They were delicious.
Fantastic size, came with fries and coleslaw.
Lovely staff, very friendly.
Would definitely recommend.

Sunday lunch here. Food was lovely. Desserts were a little of a let down. Creme brulee needed a little longer to torch the sugar, would have been a standout dish if not for this! Eton mess was fruity, but did not look appetising (sorry).

A superb pub with friendly and attentive staff. Been here many times and booked a 40th birthday lunch here for 25 people - every one of whom said how much they enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Decent drinks selection and some real gems on the menu. Sunday menu a little pricier to account for the roasts (had the pork belly is delicious and worth the £20).
Good parking out front and some tables in the sun and shade, front and back, for those al fresco. Kid friendly with menu choice snd a nice climbing frame to muck about.

3 of us visited here for lunch all had fish and chips when it arrived it was nicely presented on a triangle plate chips were very thick if you like them like that fish was quite small in batter not like some other pubs and mine was not covered properly a little salad none of us ate it not great,staff were very good and polite not a very good menu should have had a lot more on it will not return
