yesterday i ordered eggs rice rice was undercooked, naan was almost taste like chewgum , even lamb meat was undercooked kept chewing, and got stomachache after eating this all. This was my first order from cafe india terrible experience ?

Normally this is the best Indian I?ve ever had but the vindaloo was really weird tasting today. It tasted really powdery?this was a delivery. such a shame but will try again before I give up as maybe it?s a different chef on a Sunday night.

Had a takeaway, it was ok. Definitely not the worst but the chicken tikka masala did taste a bit like tomato soup but saying that the seekh kebab and naan was good.

Ordered a takeaway and the madras curry was water thin without any taste or spice and the onion bhaji were very greasy. Shame as it always used to be soo good in the past. Won?t be ordering from there again.

Easily the best Indian restaurant in Chippenham! Always amazing for, food, service and hospitality. The king prawn and salmon dishes are a must if you like seafood. Have also brought guests, who equally agree, it is top quality. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The cafe was hosting a very loud hen party, as well as our 21-person evening out. Our main course arrived around 10 o'clock and was barely warm. To add insult to injury, the staff tried to overcharge me on the soft drinks that I had. If I had not been carrying someone else in my car, my wife and I would have left before the main course arrived even though I had paid for the meal in advance. Needless to say, I won't be going back. If a restaurant can not cater for two events simultaneously, then they shouldn't have taken the second booking.Parking: On road parking, but few spaces due to residential parking.

The reason I've given this a 5 star all round is because from the service to the multicultural South Asian foods to the general atmosphere of the restaurant, everything isn't just good, it's excellent. There are extremely welcoming staff who will seat you quickly, a nice, traditional South Asian restaurant setting topped with the main thing that people come here for, the world class food. I ordered their tandoori chicken and some naan bread topped with garlic sauce, and absolutely everything was cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would 100% come back here.

Had our first Indian from here and will be returning for more. A decent portion with good quality ingredients. Tender chicken in the garlic chilli chicken and biryani had a lot of ingredients. Madras sauce had a perfect kick to it and naan was stuffed well. Very happy family.

Lamb and Chicken were tough as old boots, and we got spicy sauce coated chicken, instead of Plain from English menu? And to top the night, the whole order was stone cold! :(
