What can I say?! After years of being depressed, embarrassed and ashamed of my facial hair caused by PCOS I found Alice. From the first email she sent me, to the first consultation and the following appointments she has been nothing but amazing! Professional, calming, experienced, passionate and generous. She explained everything in clear detail and how the process would work. She took the first session slowly and talked me through the elements and made me feel so safe.I can?t wait to have lots more unwanted body hair zapped away! I have polycystic ovary syndrome and have struggled with unwanted facial, neck and body hair for over 10 years. I reached out to Alice after finding her on google when my self esteem and confidence were at a low and I just felt so unhappy in my own skin. I have had a patch test and two full treatments so far. WOW! What can I say!?The facial hair has reduced immensely. My skin is looking so much brighter and almost blemish free. I?m no longer shaving, plucking, epilating or waxing my sensitive skin and breakouts, ingrown hairs, shaving rash and uncomfortable stubble are a thing of the past!I?m doing a proper skincare routine now because, unlike before the laser, I can bear to touch and look at my face.But what I want to highlight in this review is not only the effectiveness of the actual treatment but Alice (the owner) herself. Alice explained the science behind the treatments and gave me tips and advice on the importance of SPF. But most importantly she has created a safe space for people to learn to love themselves again. This is not just a cosmetic treatment for me, it?s a healing journey to accept myself and feel happy and comfortable in my own skin, something that I?ve not had for years. I have struggled with rosacea throughout my twenties and thirties. After using many expensive creams and having unsuccessful procedures from high street salon chains, I felt that I just had to live with unsightly thread veins on my face forever. On relocating to Calne, I heard about Woman to Woman and as a last cry for help I reached out to Alice. She made me feel comfortable and at ease from the first moment I met her. Alice made me feel confident that she could improve my skin. After only one session my face looked different! 2 more further sessions and my skin was clear of thread veins! I?ve never felt more confident and happy... thank you Alice, you have a customer for life!

Well, as my hair removal process is coming to an end, I would like to leave a review to let others know what to expect! Ive never had laser hair removal before visiting Alice at woman to woman, but I had some consultations and patch tests at a few other companies in my original search. On my first visit, I had a patch test. I was having my upper lip and chin targeted, and so for the patch test, Alice just did the one side of my face in those areas. I was surprised at how little pain there was. I mean, yea, it's not 100%pain free but the satisfaction of knowing with each zap, a hair is being destroyed makes it worth it. We booked my next appointment for 3 weeks from then.. And so the journey began. Alice is very knowledgable in her field, and is brilliant at explaining exactly What is happening to the hairs, what to expect and how to best prepare for your next treatment. I was mentally prepared for it to take several treatments and started to see longer lasting results after probably the third session. So I guess what you should know is that after you have the laser removal, the hairs are no longer above the surface, but they do grow back, each time less and thinner and longer in between. The treated area is left a bit red and tender, but that only lasts a few hours and Alice always makes sure to soothe me with lotion and apply spf. She even gave me some to take with me on my first visit. I started with my appointments 3 weeks apart, but gradually increased them to every 5 weeks as the hairs were taking longer to come back. The first few sessions, I still had a lot of hairs grow back by the time I went to my next session, and was needing to shave every few days in between appointments. but by the third visit I started to really notice less hairs. It wasn't until after my 7th visit that I was no longer needing to shave between appointments. Ive just had my 9th appointment and I'm happy with the final results, I no longer need to shave or pluck at all! It's absolutely beautiful. I spent my whole life plucking everyday to stay on top of the growth, and now I don't even think about it. Laser hair removal is not a quick fix, it does take time and results will vary between people but it's definitely something I reccomend. It's changed my life completely. As far as Alice goes, she's a professional at what she does. She really knows her stuff and will do everything possible to make sure that you're getting the best results. She's very open and honest about expectations and cost. Speaking of the cost, what I like is that you pay for each session individually. So it's not going to break your bank. Other places required full payment upfront and I just don't have that kind of disposable income. Alice's premises is perfectly spotless, and she keeps time well. She has never left me waiting and even taken me in early on occasion. Alice keeps proper client record cards and has insurance, which is a MUST for any salon, but especially one providing this service. I'm just so happy that I walked through her door a year ago and started this journey. It has changed my life forever, and for that reason I reccomend you pay her a visit. Even if you just want a free consultation or a chat about your options. Alice will open her brain and give you all the insights. Change your life :) have laser hair removal!

One of the most honest and friendly cosmetic salon I have been to, they are very passionate About their job and will do all they can to help you feel the best you can beauty wise. I decided to go there as it was close by had facial hair issues and did some research call up book and appointment for the treatment I thought would be best for me, I arrive was warmly welcome she took a look at my condition and right away refuse treatment and explained why and suggested a different treatment. From day I have respected this establishment because other places would have give me what l asked for just to get my money
