The main point is that the sandwiches I've had (3) have all been good and if I need lunch and am close, I'll go back.
The sandwiches are good but not mind-bendingly so. I've had mind bending sandwiches that I remember every bite of. These aren't that but they are fine for lunch if you're around the area.
Nothing is bad about Sam Widges at all but there is no atmosphere to speak or when you go in (one of the criteria Google asks you to review). It just feels as it should; a place where you wait for someone to make you a sandwich. The photos on the wall of how Calne used to look are interesting.
Kid-friendliness: Children could go in.
Wheelchair accessibility: Think the threshold is a step.

Been getting baguettes and sandwiches from Sam Widges for years and have never had an issue, food is always super tasty and fresh, bread baked multiple times a day so always fresh and tasty! All ingredients are fresh and super tasty! Never expensive! Usually get 2 1/2 baguettes for about £5

Used to come here when I was at school! Blast from the past. They still make fresh sandwiches to order with a variety of fillings. I advise coming earlier so you have more options to choose from. Love that this place is still going (I left school 17 years ago!)

OMG lived in Calne for 11 years and never tried this shop. Well now I have 11 years of catching up! Very clean, well presented, fresh ingredients, really friendly staff. Well impressed.
