Very rude staff they make you feel uncomfortable make you use self check out i got stared at by a staff member with my partner, while she was emptying a cage at about 11-20 then checking to see if you are stealing , not one single till open, there two staff other members standing around talking while assistant was needed at self check out , open a till, and better customer service is need of a check, if you cant handle self checkouts.

Rude staff. The woman who usually works on the self check-outs approving goods is very condescending. For someone who's job it is to manually approve items, and interact with the public, customer service should be a higher focus, and a refresher course undertaken.

The Sainsbury's store in Calne is okay. The store feels a bit dated. The staff are mostly helpful when you ask them for help.
The store is well stocked if you are looking to make something for the family to eat.
I personally worry about how much food on shelves gets thrown away. Considering that most of the ingredients to make them get imported too.
There are so many people in the UK using food banks and going hungry today in 2025. I wish there is more that we can do together to help.

Good Sainsburys, I pop into this one regularly as it has good parking, plenty inside and does the Soda Stream stuff which is usually what I need.Cash machine out the front if you need it.
