What a wonderful nights stay, a warm welcome, friendly but efficient service and delicious food. The gin bar is such a perfect place to relax, play cards and experience the delicious mixes on offer.Loved everything about Widbrook, some areas in need of a little TLC, but to be honest, added to the character. Will definitely book again.Food & drinks: Chorizo and scallops followed by fillet of beef, absolutely delicious and excellent value for money.Gin bar visit a must, very knowledgeable and perfectly paired.

We recently photographed a wedding at Widbrook Grange. We had a great day there. The staff for excellent and really helpful throughout the day keeping things on track and well organised. Because of the time of year a lot of our day was spent inside so we can't comment too much on the outdoor space although it looked great. The indoor space was lovely, cosy and intimate. This would be a great wedding venue for a smaller wedding.

Had a lovely couple of days (apart from the weather !) with some nice walks with our lab. Widbrook Grange is really good for dogs with plenty of secure open space around the hotel itself & within easy reach of great walks along the Kennet & Avon Canal or in to Bradford on Avon. Only half an hour drive from Bath too.Rooms: Dog friendly rooms comfortable & quiet. HUGE beds !Walkability: Great walks along the Kennet & Avon Canal, into Bradford on Avon & only half an hour drive from BathFood & drinks: Great breakfast (good sausages, including one of the dog !). Dinner was very good as well, although not cheap.Noteworthy details: The Hotel is very dog friendly, with dogs allowed anywhere other than the main restaurant. Plenty of secure open space in the hotel grounds. Jars of dog treats are everywhere !!!You get a doggy bag of treats, pooh bags & a ball, with dog bowls in the room too.

As a wedding supplier, I've worked at Widbrook Grange on a number of occasions. All of the team are amazing to work with and go above and beyond!Claire is absolutely amazing and recently let me use their space to photograph some of my products. All of the spaces are so well thought through, quirky and stunning, it is the perfect intimate wedding venue.I cannot recommend Widbrook Grange enough!

Great out of town location. Excellent team of staff.Delicious food at both breakfast and dinner using high-quality produce.Prefer the rooms in the Stable on the ground floor, than the main building.Superb bar with 100's of gins to choose from as well as Whisky and other drinks.Lovely lounges with log fires.A local bus stops nearby taking you to Bath in under an hour.We must love Widbrook Grange as this was our 3rd visit.

It's our second stay here. Our room was gorgeous. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a few pre drinks in the cute bar before our meal (nice bottled real ales). The evening meal and breakfast were both 10/10, we couldn't fault them. During the day we spent a few hours walking around Bradford upon Avon for lunch and coffee. A wonderful, relaxing weekend. Thank you to the staff!Rooms: Big comfy bed. We slept soooooo well!Walkability: Bradford Upon Avon is about a 20 minute walk away and most of the walk is along the canal :-)

A must visit hotel!I was recommended this hotel and was sceptical at first from its age & style. I was expecting creaky floors and doors. Cold rooms and in the middle of nowhere. But from arriving, I was thoroughly impressed. The site is beautiful, the staff are incredible and food is delicious! We were greeted with a lovely gent and shown around the hotel. We booked the Sewing Room and it was dated in my opinion but it fits in with the house aesthetic. If you like the look of a 1980s bedrooms then this is it. The bed was one of the most comfiest beds I've ever slept on. The room was clean and big. The only annoying thing was the TV because you had to be an inch away from it with the controller for the buttons to work 50% of the time. Other than that, the bathroom, shower, wardrobe and heating were amazing. In the deal we had £25 dinner credit per person, free breakfast each morning and free afternoon tea. These were always amazing. Fantastic food, great service and lovely atmosphere. For what we paid for the stay I was really happy. For days out in Bath its a bit of a trek, usually around 30 minute drive to the city centre. Public transport is a nightmare as usual in the UK.Checking out was easy and straightforward.Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend to anyone staying in Bath! You definitely get value for money!

One of the nicest ,well run , underrated star wise establishments we have visited. Great rooms great service ,food beyond the realms of a 3 star hotel . We were researching for a long term booking and came across this gem . Would have given them in a heartbeat the booking . But it's our choice how to pay and they only wanted us to pay by card . Sorry my money my choice . Stunning pool as well . Hence the low star mark only because of the payment restrictions.Rooms: Quirky very comfortable
