Lovely pub with a good selection of beers on tap and very good food. Varied menu, definite cut above standard pub grub. Only deducting a mark for atmosphere because the music they were playing was pretty gross (sorry whoever?s playlist that was but I hate your taste in country music) - but it wasn?t too loud and didn?t spoil our visit.

Lovely pub in the countryside, the food was lovely. Fish and chips were very good, as was the burger (with bacon and Brie for mine!) Kids enjoyed their food as well and the staff were super friendly. Definitely recommend if you?d like a nice cozy pub!

Fantastic food and service. The kids cheesy tomato pasta was fantastic. The right size portion and for our fussy child was spot on for taste. Haddock and chips delicious. Can?t fault.

Visited as a party of 9. Pre booked which is always essential with bigger groups.
I always try and articulate the positives in my reviews, but also need to balance that with being honest.
Food was OK, went on a Sunday and had a variety of different dishes across the group. Not bad, not good, bang average. Service also OK, very friendly staff but it took nearly 2.5 hours to serve two courses. Which is a bit daft.
Did notice some lone dining elderly patrons who were very very well looked after by the staff, which was great to see.
All in all, middle of the road.
Carpark is small but on road parking available nearby.

Very typical of what you would expect for a small village pub. Friendly staff but slightly old fashioned environment.
Food mediocre but perfectly acceptable.

I came here for the first time with my Wife on Monday 16th for our Wedding Anniversary. Food was extremely good quality. Very enjoyable meal. Not the cheapest, but I always say you get what you pay for.

The Seven Stars atmosphere is a huge draw, and even on a Thursday evening was a great place to meet for a drink and a bite to eat. They even had ?Tinhead?, a guest beer from my neck of the woods - the Three Daggers in Edington!
Just as good outside as it is inside!

Very disappointed with my partners meal last night..not their usual standard.The lamb hock and dauphinois potatoes was not enough to feed a child we were waiting for the veg and potatoes it didnt come.. took meal back bad response! a joke for £25! We will not be back and not recommend to others..
