Recently moved to the village and as there's not much here thought would get a coffee in the 1 local pub, but when I walked in I felt uncomfortable as was looked up and down, for some reason.
The garden is strange, as the land next to the pub seems to be a private garden for the pub owners, but there are some tables outside the fence at the back or to the side next to the road.
Think will go elsewhere in future.

Wonderful, warm and homely atmosphere. A very classic English pub in style - the food is absolutely incredible. We had the moules and the pie of the day. Both awesome.
Everyone should come here. An undiscovered gem that is 100% worth the visit.

Wow! What a superb Sunday lunch! Delicious roast lamb served with a medley of vegetables including roast onion and a stuffing. Lovely yorkshire pudding too. Washed down with a pint of Otter Amber it was lovely! Thanks for fitting us in as a casual drop in, we will certainly come again!

We dropped in for a light lunch after visiting Farleigh Castle. We had the best moules ever, with great bread and Percy our pointer was made a fuss of, which he loved. Plan to return one evening to try the full menu.

Popped in here for lunch prior to visiting NT's Westwood Manor which is just down the road. A typical olde English village pub with low ceilings and a couple of beautiful old stone fireplaces. The food is excellent and there is plenty of parking to the rear.

The food was lovely and the servers were polite but the woman who I assume was the owner was very rude.

Visited for a birthday dinner. Food was absolutely lovely and enjoyed by all. We did take a birthday cake but felt it was frowned upon. It was brought out with no knife or serviettes. There was 7 of us drinking and had food, a bit disappointed by service.
