The place was so welcoming and very busy but you did not feel like you were waiting long because the atmosphere was great. We also got treated to some delicious hash browns on arrival (free)We had a mixture of meals from fried breakfast to pancakes all very tasty and a good price for what is on offer. We took some cakes with us I must say the cheese cake was extremely good.If you have never been it's a must and if you can't fit in the restaurant they also have cute little huts for a bit of privacy and outside seating which I am sure fills up very quickly in the hot weather.Thank you to the fantastic staff there are not many places you can go where the staff look like they are also having a good time , keep up the good work ?

The food was very good, I had a pizza which was cooked in a pizza oven. Price was average for the area. The site is great on the side of a farm with a few animals on display. There's also a lot on offer in the farm shop.

It's 1/2 term the place was heaving but they were all happy we had to wait a little longer than normal but the poached eggs and pancakes were fabulous thank you ?

A friend told us about Merkins Farm Cafe, so we decided to give it a go this morning, we arrived at 10am ish, the car park was already almost full so we knew it was going to be busy, we waited outside the entrance for 7-8 minutes then were able to stand inside for another few minutes, the front of house staff was very polite on greeting us, apologising for the wait, we were shown to a table and was told that breakfast would be approx a 30 minute wait, we had no problem with that, once we ordered, the drinks arrived after 10 mins or so, then the breakfast not long after, it was less than 30 mins. The full English was delicious and my wife had pancakes with berries, which she loved, very good quality ingredients used, lovely and hot too, would definitely recommend a visit, we will certainly return, well worth the wait.

I'm an occasional visitor to Merkins Farm Cafe. It's in a lovely rural location on the outskirts of Bradford-Leigh, near Bradford-on-Avon. It's frequented by cyclists, families and couples at weekends, and pensioners, ramblers and tradesmen during the week. Fantastic ambience and the outdoor seating (inside sheds) is a quirky rustic touch that kids love. It can get awfully busy and you can't book tables in advance, so get there early to avoid disappointment. If it is busy, service can be a bit slow, so expect some delays in getting your food.Food & drinks: The food here is fantastic and fair value for money. The Merkins Breakfast in the picture is enormous and about £11.95, which isn't bad considering the ingredients are mostly locally sourced (I believe). In any event, my friend and I had a hearty brunch and felt very satisfied with our experience.Highly recommended.

Came for a coffee with a friend, the place itself is lovely however it is overpriced. I ordered an ice latte assuming it wouldn?t be too much as a latte is £3.30 which isn?t too bad, and it ended up costing £4.45 !! If I had known having ice would make that much of a difference I wouldn?t have had the drink.

We have been going here for a very long time over the years and have never been disappointed. Now with the revamp it is even better. The staff are so helpful .Food was top notch. It is very busy, especially on a Sunday morning but the wait worthwhile. A testament to their hard work
