Lovely location,perfect for a warm summer evening! Our food was excellent pub grub & all the staff were pleasant.Our dog was greeted with a drink too! Our waiter ,Brad ,was courteous & trying hard to please.

Walked in on a sunny Monday lunchtime to a completely empty pub, hoping for a pint a maybe some food. We were completely ignored by bar staff, who saw us come in, and proceeded not to serve us - hiding out the back of the bar doing anything but service customers.

Left unimpressed! Half the menu was unavailable which was disappointing as it was most popular dishes! Very polite on the phone very dog friendly but the food was ok nothing special! I?m not sure if the restaurant has a problem but they were everywhere I even seen two on a guys back while eating!! We finished our meal and thought we?d stay a little longer for another but then the waiter arrived with our bill which we hadn?t asked for! We decided leave after this as felt rushed like we?ve eaten so we?re done, not very professional !!

Beautifully located and tastefully decorated, the boathouse is located right next to the Bradford on Avon marina and has plenty of parking. We had an absolutely lovely Sunday roast which was beautifully presented, more than I could eat, tasted delicious and was served by some wonderfully friendly, smiling, attentive staff. All in all a perfect day. My thanks to everyone involved.

We booked a table for 6 people for my husband birthday the food was great and the service we received at are table by Phoebe 10/10 highly recommended it .

Burnt and undercooked food. Incredibly rude manger abused a 16yr old worker swearing at him poor boys mum had to come collect him he also was extremely rude to her laughing calling her darling and then when they left was shouting about it to different colleagues. He blamed the butcher on the food being undercooked and another being incredibly burnt.
Another elderly couple next to us got even the wrong meal and was told it was her fault our food took over a hour. Wouldn?t recommend at all.
He also picked who could have tabs or not on how they looked .
I?ve run restaurants and pubs before also for ones that was failing and never have I seen such a mismanaged awful place before.

Terrible service. Me and my partner rang up to enquire about hiring the function room for a baby shower and the manager asked us to come in for a face to face meeting. When we arrived to the meeting (it was scheduled at 10am so the pub was not open), we knocked on the door multiple times and no-one came. The manager had forgotten about the meeting. When we eventually did meet, we booked the baby shower. A few weeks later, I emailed to confirm our numbers and they came back and said they had double booked the function room and we could no longer have it. We went in for another meeting to see what else they could offer us and they offered us the downstairs section of the pub, which we were not overly happy with as wouldn?t be as private but we accepted. Fast forward to a month before the baby shower, I emailed to ask what time we could come in on the day to put up our decorations, a week went by with no response so my partner rang up. During this phone call, he was told the manager had left and the new manager was unable to offer us the baby shower, but no-one had decided to tell us this. We are now weeks away from a baby shower with 70 people invited, family members having booked hotels and we have no venue. Absolutely appalled with how we?ve been treated, unprofessional from start to finish.

Went to the boathouse after it was recommended. I am a female customer I Went to the bar. The bar lady was serving a couple I was waiting patiently to be served a man walked upto the bar behind the couple being served. He then walked upto he bar and was served. The lady looked at me and continued to serve the man. I said excuse me but I was here first which he disagreed with he was continued to be served so I said that they had lost my custom.
I find this happens a lot. Women are ignored over men.
I tried to call the boathouse but no answer and the mail box was full.I hope the ignorant man is happy with himself.
I will NEVER recommend a place like this

Like eating in Battersea Dogs home.
Full of barking badly behaved dogs, very poor and overpriced food.
Very dirty with rude staff .
