We had a great evening at the Lord Nelson pub. One Sunday evening, the lovely gentleman announced to us that he was no longer serving food but he took pity on us and nevertheless agreed to make us pizzas (even though he had just turned off the oven). Welcome to the best of the best! Very good pizzas, drinks too. Above all, we remembered the smile and the pleasant conversation we had with the owner of the place. Thank you again for this beautiful evening!

We arrived in town, and stumbled upon the lord Nelson inn for a drink. It was so charming and cosy inside, that we ended up getting dinner too! Carina behind the bar was so sweet and lovely and Pedro, made us feel so incredibly welcome. Thank you!

Fantastic service, great food and a lovely environment. Stopped in with a family of 4 after a very muddy walk. The team were very welcoming, there was a warm log burner to take the chill off and the food was really lovely. We will be going again.

Food & drinks: Great food and great selection of ale! Freshly made and tasty burgers. Went in late lunch time and the welcoming landlord still happy to serve us. Nice atmosphere,friendly and, relaxing. Everything a pub should be!

We had the most amazing Sunday lunch cooked by the lovely Jane, the lanlady. Pete the landlord catered to our every need. The bar staff were great and very attentive, we couldn't have asked for more. Nice local pub serving excellent homemade pizza with some usual and some not so usual toppingsI?ve had a lot of pizza around the uk and this is one of the best. Nice thin and crispy with tasty toppingsWould use again if in this area.
