This was a fantastic find--lovely pub with really good food and very efficient, friendly service. It was sunny, and a bank holiday and this sort of place just makes England even more beautiful.

This was our second time here and it could have been a different pub, we were very disappointed with our roast.The veg came out on a side plate that would feed one person not four, we ordered cauliflower cheese as an extra this came out in a small bowl, for 2 people. Staff kept forgetting drinks and never came and asked if everything was okay.
Sorry to say we won't be coming back.

Dinner was very good (Burgers & Fish and chips), the place is beautiful and people are very friendly and dogs are welcome ?.

Food was very poor beef thin, veg not enough for everyone to have broccoli or cauliflower at least one floret each would be a start! Would i go back NO!!

We had an outstanding stay at The Catherine Wheel for two nights with our group of friends. Rooms were clean and spacious. Roo and her team were fantastic - the breakfast cooked to order for us was a definite highlight, along with the live music on Thursday. What an atmosphere - highly recommended. Thank you!

Stopped here for Sunday lunch, escaping the busy National trust Cafe. Wonderful find. Straight in with no wait, fantastic service and great food. The beer was well kept and had plenty of choice. Huge portions for a Sunday roast, plenty of veg and sides and great value too. Will definitely return.
