Such a lovely pub. The landlord is clearly very passionate about the food they serve and he can tell you everything about how a dish is prepared, served and where the meat comes from. Definitely going to be one we return to.

We dropped in late for lunch and the landlord very kindly offered to rustle something up for us. We were offered a choice between ham, egg and chips or Imam Bayildi. A variation on a classic Turkish dish based on aubergine. Both were delicious! Washed down with Stonehenge brewery's Pigs Will beer and Prime Cotswold cider.

Great pub, always stop off on a bike ride when heading past, friendly staff and good choice of drinks, will have to try the food soon.

A proper village pub but one that does exquisite food. Not many pubs get that balance right, but the Seven Stars nails it. I went in with my partner and dog just to have a quick pint before a country walk. The menu tempted us into having lunch and we didn't regret our decision in the slightest; the steak sandwich was genuinely the best I'd ever had. The meat was so succulent and tender - and all at excellent value considering the price.I should say that we had a very warm welcome there too. A really lovely pub.Food & drinks: Excellent choice, quality ingredients and very fair prices. Good local ales too - and the barman was very happy to talk us through the choices.

Good food. Confit of duck was tasty, the scotch egg was perfect. The Korean burger was okay, lacked gochujang (red pepper sauce) but otherwise a good meal.

I have read all the reviews and was expecting a slightly better than average pub. I was wrong.. It exceeded my expectations. The dinner for myself and daughter was of a very good standard. The attention to detail was well thought out. My room was spacious and comfortable. Will we go back? We will of course. Value for money. ? I was surprised at the final bill. Great value.

My partner and I are visitors from Canada, staying within the neighbourhood. We were told that the food here is delicious, along with the environment. Absolutely correct.The people were wonderful, the owner interacted with everyone in the pub, the locals were kind to us. The food was incredibly delicious.Can't wait to come back again!

Gorgeous pub, lovely atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Food was unfortunately not great having heard it's usually pretty good. The burgers and chips were inedibly over salted - possibly an accident in the kitchen as I can't imagine anyone would intentionally put that much salt on food!

It didn?t look much but great food, great service, attentive to all our needs (toddler, baby, dog, miserable old sod). A great Sunday lunch experience!

We preordered at the request of the Seven Stars because we were a party of 7! We arrived bang on time and the food came out immediately! Even before our drinks order! Chips burned to a crisp, fish we think had been double fried. So no fillings remained. Some of us received the wrong sides. Korean chicken also ruined and dry. Cottage pie full of salt. Basically an expensive and disappointing meal. One course one drink and they charged us £207 in total. They didn?t seem bothered when we complained. A disaster all round! Plus: How can you justify £11 for one glass of rose wine.
