So glad we visited this wonderful restaurant. The staff were absolutely brilliant, smiles on their faces and so lovely. The food was such a suprise to me, absolute game changer. I've had lots of Japanese food in Vancouver but this was better. The beer was also floorless, not to mention the beautiful waterside location. Xxx

Lovely place but very warm, absence of fans and air conditioning. Food was delicious. Slight caution, watch your change staff added an extra £5 tip to the bill over what we offered.

Some of the best Japanese food you can find in the south west, blew our minds away how authentic it is compared to Japanese restaurants in Japan. Would absolutely recommend if in the area!

I chose to visit the Waterside Kitchen and Bar with a colleague on the final night of a 5 night stay down the road at the De Vere Hotel.
I wish I had eaten here every single night of the week... The service was attentive, the atmosphere was tip top, the food was just mind blowing.
This place is worth a visit, and I will certainly be back!

Delicious beef tataki with ponzu, black cod, tempura vegetables and prawns. Lovely lady serving. June 2025: still delicious, still the same lovely lady. Sashimi and Romanian rose. Excellent!

This was the 4th time we have dined here and the food is consistently good.
Despite there being 17 of us, service was quick and efficient.
Being a large group we shared pretty much all the dishes on the menu. All were really good - the scallops and sushi deserve a special mention.
Good range of drinks and cocktails, plenty of outside space too.
The only improvement that could be made would to have a couple of fans in the conservatory area. It can get a bit warm there!
