Look , it's a good restaurant and the fish was good but when you're from Grimsby you cant compare the quality to our regular fish restaurant at home .

Great spot for fish and chips

We came here on a busy Sunday evening with a pre booked table. The staff were really efficient and hard working. It took a while to receive our meals but everything was delicious when we did so. A downside was a large table opposite us with numerous children on loud ipads which was a little disruptive but obviously not staffs fault. This is defiantly one of the best fish and chip restaurants in the area especially for the reasonable price. I look forward to the next visit!

I haven't came across a better fish and chips in the UK. Huge portion size as well as quality to go with it. The batter was perfect and the fish itself as well. Cannot recommend any higher. Travel for work sometimes and always make this a stop on my route.

I?ve been to Murgatroyds before, and the food has always been fantastic?easily some of the best fish and chips around. But on this occasion, it wasn?t just the food that made the visit so special; it was the outstanding service I received from a gentleman named Harry.
From the moment I walked in, Harry set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. He greeted me with a warm smile and a level of genuine enthusiasm that you don?t often come across. His politeness and professionalism were second to none, making me feel like a truly valued customer rather than just another table to serve.
What stood out most was Harry?s attentiveness?he struck the perfect balance between being engaging and allowing me to enjoy my meal without feeling rushed. He checked in at just the right moments, ensuring everything was perfect, and he did so with such a friendly and personable approach that it felt completely natural. He clearly takes pride in his work, and it showed in everything he did, from recommending menu choices to making sure my drink was never empty.
It?s rare to come across a member of staff who not only delivers excellent service but does so with such an infectious energy that it elevates the entire dining experience. Harry is exactly the kind of person who makes customers want to return?not just for the food, but for the level of care and attention he provides.
He represents everything great about customer service, and I can?t wait to return and be served by him again.
