Booked appointment and paid for Meningitis B vaccine for my daughter days in advance of the appointment. Arrived at the pharmacy to be told no vaccine was available. Over 1 hour round trip for both of us. I'm currently hoping that the refund for the money already paid for the vaccine via the Boots website (over £100) arrives in my bank account. Common courtesy would suggest that there should have been a phone call to cancel the appointment if there were supply issues with the vaccine and Boots were unable to fulfil the service that had been advertised and paid for.

Quite possibly the worst Boots store ever visited. No self service tills and one served till who disappears for minutes at a time to dig out click and collect orders.

Always waiting on long queues with hardly any staff on the tills near the pharmacy.
Staff being unprofessional by whining to customers about being taken off their breaks to help out when there should be other staff on.

I've been a regular visitor to this pharmacy for 11 years and levels of service have got steadily worse. The staff are wonderful but massively under resourced. Long queues are the norm. On my last visit there were 9 people in the queue and 6 of them (including me) had problems with prescriptions not being ready or incomplete, despite plenty of notice being given. Many prescriptions are made up 'off site' and this seems to cause delays. If anyone from Boots reads this, please do not direct me to a customer service help line. Have a look at some of the other reviews and put some more investment into this store. Boots pharmacy sales were up 10% in the last quarterly financial results, you can afford it.

Have just requested a one off box of prescribed tablets to be told it will be ready in 2-3hrs.Meanwhile my mother is in pain as she hasn?t got the medication. I questioned the wait to be told that the pharmacist had alot of others before me. I said I hoped I didn?t have to queue again to collect it and she shrugged her shoulders. I understand what it is like to be understaffed but from the reviews this seems ongoing. Boots, this is not good enough. You are failing your Wetherby community with this.

Would be 5 stars if they had more staff in there. The staff I've spoken to are always helpful and kind.The queues get pretty long, but that's not on the staff. They are apologetic for "making" us wait.It's only a small shop, but it has all the basics and a few bits more!

Friendly helpful staff but sometimes a lack of goods on the shelves.e.g. earlier in the year had a cold virus and cough ... no medicines left so had to go to Superdrug next door. I always choose boots first and their vaccination service is top rate. Thank you.

Staff always friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Sometimes I order on-line to collect in store and this works really well.

The pharmacy department is an absolute nightmare to get hold of you can ring the phone number 7-8 times for 2-3 days before you get through to someone and when you do if its not Katherine on the other end of the phone your just wasting your time as the other staff are so rude and not one bit helpful at all there customer services is shocking. The lady who is scotch not sure what her name is left me on hold for nearly 40 minutes (apparently she would be a couple of minutes her words )she was dealing with another customer I waited that long my battery went flat and its not as if to say what I rang for wasn't important I'm a diabetic and its so important that I get my insulin in time if she would of dealt with my request it would of taken up 2 minutes of her time . Over all I know everyone is busy but it costs nothing to be kind no matter how busy you are.

My mother was on holiday up near this boots, when she was taken ill with cellulitis in her right leg. My parents stopped at this boots pharmacy in need of some medical advice & bandages. And the staff here couldn?t of been more helpful if they had tried. They went above & beyond for my mother. So friendly, caring & they actually took the time to find out what was wrong & what they could do to help her. Steve Collins was particularly helpful & caring. She would like to thank everyone who helped her & my father that bank holiday weekend in late august especially Steve Collins. Thank you all again.

Had to wait again long que, but they were short staffed. Each time I go, always a que need more staff I fell sorry for those who work there.

Alright pharmacy, lady in the prescription area was very helpful. Sadly a very disrespectful lady (Short black hair with thick black specs) approached me after I left the pharmacy and accused me of stealing! She didn't even ask if I had already paid. Then I showed her the receipt and all she said was ... oh good. She didn't even apologise. What disgusting behaviour. I mean, we all make mistakes, but at least have the same guts you had to accuse me, to also apologise. Horrible, felt very humiliated.
