I had the pleasure of staying at Wentbridge House Hotel overnight while attending my niece's wedding, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. The venue itself is simply outstanding, with a charming property within the main house boasting lots of cozy rooms. The staff were incredibly attentive, helpful, and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.We had guests from both the United States of America and the UK, and everyone had a wonderful time, consistently commenting on the wonderful atmosphere of the place. Karen, the wedding events coordinator, was exceptional in her ability to keep the crowd happy and entertained. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and she even joined in with some of the dancing, truly embodying the spirit of the hotel.The food was nothing short of outstanding, with top-notch quality that left us all impressed. Kudos to the chefs for their culinary expertise. The rooms themselves were comfortable, well-decorated, and provided a peaceful retreat after a night of celebration.Overall, Wentbridge House Hotel is well worth a visit, and if you're considering tying the knot, it's definitely a venue worth considering. From the attentive staff to the excellent food and charming atmosphere, this hotel has everything you need for a memorable stay or event.

We booked a dinner table for 2 beforehand. When we approached the reception, we were asked whether we would need a wine list and we advised we didn?t need one due to my allergy to alcohol. We were put in a small corner table immediately next to a table of four(occupied) whilst all the other tables were free. The guests next to us also looked quite confused as to why we were seated immediately next to them whilst other tables (further away) were guest free. I guess this was due to us not wanting to order any wine (which indicates we probably wouldn?t spend that much and therefore not important enough).It is sad to say that the service was quite disappointing. We had to get up for 3 times to be served. It gave us a feeling that staff were avoiding eye contacts from guests. It also seemed they were busy setting up one table rather than paying attention to what guests (who were already there) needed. It is understandable that they needed to set up one or two table(s) although the restaurant was quite empty with many tables already set up. There was only one table (which was ours) occupied in the entire row.The food was ok. I?d expect they could have been hotter. The menu was quite standard.Just also noting that guests sitting next to us refused to pay service charge probably because they were not really impressed by the service.

We had an early celebration for Mother?s Day, we chose the winter afternoon tea. Everything was served fresh and the scones warm. The sandwiches were fresh and tasty, coffee was fresh brewed and delicious. The staff were all very friendly and approachable.Thanks and hats off to all the staff.

Overall I give this hotel 5 stars, however, the towels and bath mat in our ensuite appeared to fake tan on them. I wasn't sure if they'd been washed, or, not. When we were in the lounge having coffee, it took 3 attempts of asking for the table to be cleared, and even longer for it to be cleaned.This is unusual for the Wentbrige, maybe they were short of staff, who knows ?Food & drinks: The food was very good, as always.

Lovely stay here. Staff are friendly and helpful, the location is beautiful. All amenities in the room you could need. We also got a free upgrade which made the stay even better. The restaurant and food are divine! Best meal we've ever had, we ordered the chateaubriand and it was delicious!Rooms: Lovely size to move around and all you in one space. The bathroom was huge and the walk in shower was fantastic!Food & drinks: I highly recommend the restaurant, the food was amazing!

Staff friendlyRestaurant areas stylish.I didn't find the gluten free options for supper helpful or accessible. Ended up having soup.Room cold and no radiators so air-conditioning or nothing so woke up cold.Plumbing in bathroom poor. Cold tap needs attention. Couldn't empty bath.Breakfast good.Overall I was already having a bad day and this hotel didn't really improve the day!!

I attended a wedding here last year and the venue is just delightful. The outside space is stunning and spacious and the team were very accommodating to ensure that the bride and groom's wishes were met and everyone had a great day
