Since the pub changed hands it has gone downhill fast, and the people who live around it says that they are feed up of loud music playing after 11pm and the owners having bonfires in the so called beer garden. I live across from the pub and all of us around here are fed up with the noise and smoke from the fires, when the other people who owned it before it was always busy and no fires or loud music after 11pm now the pub hardly gets any customers,maybe they should look at how they are running the pub and change their attitude towards the local people who have to put up with the smoke,noise and young people shouting and screaming in the car park especially on Friday and Saturday night.
People don't want that as most of the people are pensioners and want peace and quiet.
I don't normally complain as I know that they are just trying to make a living but they should get some advice from the previous owners and then they might have a better idea of how to run the pub.
I don't rate it any stars as it needs a lot of work on it to be like it was run before.

Great place to play pool the lads embrace me every time I want a knock and the landlord is a great chap! Highly recommend.

Went Sunday 3rd of December for a family meal, 13 adults 3 children, great price for fantastic food, everyone enjoyed their meals, staff were so friendly and polite, place very clean, good atmosphere and will highly recommend, Sunday lunch not to be missed large was huge, thank you so much for a lovely few hours, we will be back.

service was poor, booked for a big table a few days prior and didn?t mention anything about pre ordering on the phone, when we turned up they only let 5 people order at a time, therefore none of us could eat together. the pizza was raw and stuck to the plate, just an overall bad experience. should?ve stayed closed to be honest if i could give it 0 i would

Just walked in for a meal and dogs in one came and sat at my feet! Sorry dogs and food do not mix! Make a separate seating area by all means, but not everybody loves dogs. If we had not have waited 10mins to be served with a drink would have walked out however will not be eating.

Mixed reviews but thought we would give it a try. Well worth trying. Very quiet when we arrived at 5 30 but its a huge pub and will take some flying. Good service, we only had a main, no room for dessert. Chicken fajitas were fab, sirloin cooked to perfection and a good size steak and Scampi both with homemade chips and a side of onion rings with the steak. If you've not been give it a try, good honest pub food. Fresh ingredients, cooked to order, what's not to like.

This was a return visit for lunch after a lovely visit for drinks earlier in the month. We had jacket potatoes with chilli and a jacket with beans and cheese, the addition of a side salad and coleslaw just made it even better! Thanks to the great service and comfy surroundings it's a good place for an afternoon with friends!
