Had my nails done here, felt really rushed, the technician was quite rough constantly telling me to relax my hand and pulling at my fingers. Not a good experience or value for money.

I had nail extensions applied here before I went on holiday. After following all advice re cleaning products and use of rubber gloves etc, 3 of nails had dropped off by day 2 of my holiday (9 days after application). Within the next 2 days I had lost all but 2 of my nails. Very disappointing as I had expected them to last for at least 2 weeks, and was informed that they would need taking off professionally. It has very much put me off returning.

Love having my nails done with Jo! They?re always finished to a high standard and Jo is always happy to do any design requested! As someone who doesn?t like going to unusual spaces I have been made to feel extremely comfortable here and wouldn?t go anywhere else!

I love coming to see Jo, she is just amazing so lovely to speak with. Most of all I love my nails I?ve always had short nails that did not look nice at all, but after seeing Jo for the past few months I now love my nails and how they look, she has made my hands look so pretty with how she has done my nails they are beautiful and I no longer need to hide my nails as they are great thank you so much. Extremely poor! Felt as if I was in a cattle market. I asked how long a pedicure lasts 30-40 minutes. we were in and out in under 30 minutes. the service was atrocious, really rough when dealing with my cuticles, rushed massage and to top it off a hidden fee of £2 for the nail file and buffer! Will never return. Not like it used to be! Extremely overpriced.Services: Manicures

I had to travel for a while to Wakefield and been there in January for a Hollywood wax, and it was the worst decision ever, first of all, I don?t think that beautician is even qualified, she didn?t know how to use the waxing strips and burned my intimate parts so bad that I even took pictures because I wanted to make a formal complain but didn?t have time for it lycky for them, I barely found time now to write this, I had to stay in my room for the rest of the day as I couldnt wear any jeans nor underwear, so my time and £35 wasted. I then called them back and been advised to go back the next day first thing in the morning so the beautician can see the injuries, I was shocked when she said the burn is not that bad and offered me a body lotion which she carefully pointed 2 times that it?s worth £10? although I went there for a refund, she said that only managers can do refund( which she said they weren?t there at the time). I received a phone call from the manager in a couple of days and was shocked again to be told that they don?t do refunds and that her beautician told her I wasn?t that much injured, just minor burns and that she could offer me a facial treatment worth of £35 and if I have pictures of my injured intimate part I should send it to their customer services? I am sorry but WHY WOULD YOU THINK I WOULD ACCEPT TO COME FOR ANOTHER PROCEDURE IN YOUR BEAUTY SALON WHEN YOU INJURED ME THE FIRST TIME? That is just stupid, bad management, I obviously wanted my money back and never go back there again. And to top it all up, implying to customers that they are lying is not gonna make it better and is in fact VERY RUDE AMD DISRESPECTFUL, never in my live I have seen such a disaster of customer services. I don?t even know why this place is still opened and how trading standards allows this to happen. I obviously didn?t go to do any facial treatment, who knows what could?ve happened! AVOID!

I have being coming to Mint Nails for a while now and I would just like to say that Kirsty is absolutely fabulous, she does my brows every 3 weeks and I have 110% confidence in her, she?s just done my nails today and they look fantastic (they?re normally short and boring, due to my job) I would follow you wherever you worked Kirsty! Recently had my nails done at another mint salon and one had started peeling called in this morning to see if it could be repaired due to going away today the lady was very helpful and sorted it straight away for me. I will definitely be back!!
