Hey there! Just wanted to share my experience from today's visit. As I arrived at the restaurant, I noticed the tempting deal on the window offering a sandwich, a cookie, and a hot or cold drink for £3.99. The poster made everything look so delicious! When I approached the counter and asked to upgrade to a large sandwich, I was informed it wasn't possible. I then ordered a ham and cheese toastie and requested some tomato and lettuce, only to be told it wasn't an option for that particular sandwich. I wasn't offered an alternative or an upgrade, which was disappointing as a sandwich without any salad isn't quite the same. The manager's response wasn't very helpful either. Despite this, when it was time to pay, the machine suddenly went down, causing me to miss out on my points. As a regular customer, I believe a full refund for today's experience is fair. I understand now that the ham and cheese sandwich doesn't come with salad, but this detail was not very clear in the tiny print or the pictures displayed at the entrance.

I would rate my overall experience a 4/10. While it wasn?t entirely bad, there were aspects that left me disappointed. One standout positive was a staff member or manager named Mani, who was exceptionally kind and professional. Mani's demeanour added a touch of warmth to an otherwise mixed experience with the staff at this location.
Unfortunately, my interactions with some of the other team members left me with mixed emotions. On my last visit, I ordered a 6-inch sub and asked beforehand if I could use a promotional voucher offering a free 6-inch sub with the purchase of another. I was assured by one staff member that the voucher was valid, so I proceeded with my order. However, after my sandwiches were prepared, I was informed by another staff member that the voucher could not be processed. Instead, I was asked to pay £6.70 for a footlong.
This miscommunication and inconsistency were incredibly frustrating. Not only had I been told earlier that the voucher was valid, but I also waited through the ordering process only to be told I couldn?t use it. To make matters worse, I was then told that if I chose not to pay full price, the prepared food would go to waste. This situation reflects poor staff management and a lack of effective communication at this Subway branch on Westgate.
It was disappointing to experience such disorganization, as it could easily have been avoided with better training and coordination among the team. While Mani?s kindness stood out, the overall handling of the situation left much to be desired. I hope the management addresses these issues to improve the customer experience in the future.

chicken contained just 43% and 54% chicken DNA so what is passed off as food is not food. As cheap as possible for maximum amount of cash over the till.

My daughter has just been served a brick with shriveled burnt ?cheese? on in her kids pack, had to throw it in the bin. Also given the wrong sauce in one of the premade sandwiches, if your gonna be so rude when people ask to add or take off salad in the premade sandwiches you can atleast learn how to make them right.

The service was a bit slower than usual but the staff were very helpful and friendly
Kid-friendliness: I took my 18 month old and the staff were really friendly with her. There weren't any high chairs available that I could see, so that was a dig let down as she had to eat in her pushchair.

Came in during a quiet afternoon, and was served by Mani. He was attentive of my dietary requirements (Gluten intolerance) and ensured that I had a lovely treat.

Server was more interested in getting back to his phone, food/sandwich was great, the place itself is old and worn out, needs a good clean and spruce up.
