“What a kind, professional and helpful team. In all my adult life I have never had such helpful service from a team who are willing to go above and beyond to help their customers. While tying to find some of my Glaucoma meds which has been tricky with ten other pharmacies - not being able to find them Ossett Pharmacy -did. they worked hard to order the meds and get them to me within 24 hours. I would add that these medications are available on NHS supply chain you just have to look hard and dig a little - like Ossett Pharmcy did.I know their names and and I’ve only been their twice - as that’s their approach, they want to know you and help not just dispense medicine.The NHS would not struggle as much as all pharmacy teams were so helpful to their customers and community. Ossett is out of area for me as a resident of WF12 but I will be making the effort to travel as it is rare to find such outstanding service.Thank you to the team for being incredible - you will always be my first line of enquiry when ill.”

All the staff are so helpful , including whilst watching their interaction with other service users and amongst themselves as a team. “I have endless and stressful issues with my medical centre regarding my weekly repeat prescriptions. Constantly sending it to the wrong place and I don't find out until I go to collect and it's not arrived. However this pharmacy is extremely helpful in assisting me to get my prescription and make sure I get them in time. They all work exceptionally hard to ensure all my medications are with me so I don't go without. They're all very polite and kind and will always lend a hand to help you. The girls here have saved me from going without my medications many times due to errors from my GP surgery. My repeat medications order is a large one but they still work hard to to make things right, even when they're not the cause of the problem.Thank you so much!”

“I have been to this chemist a number of times, and they usually get the prescription done in a timely manner. I know a lot of people in the area have an issues with their new policy, however this is not something new in pharmacy at all, around 2019 NHS England decided that it is the patients responsibility to order their own medication 7 days before they run out, this gives the GP 48 hours to get a prescription ready, and then the pharmacy 48 hours to order medication in and get get it ready for patients to walk in and out, without the waiting.”

“Last year I had a poor impression of this pharmacy but my prescription has been directed there due to Boots closing next to Lupset Surgery. All I can say that my recent experience has been excellent . My medicines are all ready for collection and the chemist and assistant are both friendly and knowledgeable… This all bodes well!?”

I have my medication delivered I’ve never had to wait more than 24 hours & on the sticker that goes on the bag is typed lady takes a while to get to the door please wait how thoughtful is that & I must say the drivers are brilliant. Over the past year this pharmacy have coped brilliantly to the point where I needed something other than my medication I paid for it over the phone & it was delivered at the same time now that is ? per cent customer service.”

“Went around 0930 not too busy at this time..Always the option to drop off and pick up later.Was told it would be 15 minutes it was 10,Need to bear in mind hospital medication is also distributed from here so a wait should sometimes be expected.Parking is free not sure for how long but i was around 20 minutesGreat service*****”

“Asda Wakefield missed some pizzas off a click and collect order, without a substitute ( out of stock ?). When mentioned that I needed the items substituting for a children’s party, the employee went to investigate. On his return he produced the pizzas I had ordered, and the manager said that we could have them for free and apologised for the inconvenience. Well done Asda. A well deserved 5⭐️”

“I went to collect my prescription this morning (it was snowing) but it was not going to be ready until the afternoon. The assistant promised to try and arrange to have my tablets delivered as I wasn't able to return in the afternoon. My tablets were delivered as promised. I would like to thank the very polite, helpful assistant who arranged for delivery.”

“Staff here are brilliant. I have personally never had an issue. If they do not have a prescription in stock they will do their best to order for you as fast as possible or advise you on other pharmacies that are close by. There is ample parking and I think 3 disabled spots. You can get repeat prescriptions and will get text reminders when it is ready to pick upThe store has some great products and always have deals on. From incontinence aids to nicotine replacement products, day to day tablet organisers and vitamins, shampoos to beauty products and they also stock gift sets at seasonal times. The whole team is lovely and polite. They had a angry customer who was due for a flu injection but they had run out(like most other places) and did their best to calmly explain the situation. They were very patient with this man as he started getting quite aggressive with his words as he had paid and booked online but the store had no control over the online bookings and no way of changing the lack of stock situation and were due to get more in stock at a later date. He was adamant that he wanted his flu jab. They handled the abuse perfectly after repeating themselves numerous times. They suggested ringing head office and getting a refund so he could rebook elsewhere if he was unhappy. The man eventually left and they were about to tell me the same thing but told them I understood and she suggested asking my doctor. Lovely team round there.”
