Ive just moved to this chemist and ive waited for it to open to be told the pharmacist hasn't shown up , so I have no anxiety medication today for work.
This is very disappointing

Fantastic service yesterday, they had half of my medication prescription, however I am on holiday next week and can?t pick the rest up. The male pharmacist called the sister chemist and went to pick up the rest for me so I could have the full prescription, thank you!

Very disinterested memeber of staff, went for end of life medication didnt even check if they had it in stock. Asked if i could at least get the cream for skin and jist said i can ordr it for maybe Tuesday. Disappointed in the service at this pharmacy. However, Dewsbury road Pharmacy, couldnt do enough to help and acknowledged the stress already with the situation, got all medication apart from one item that I can collect the next day.

Ridiculously busy, some staff are pleasant however others need training. If they could acknowledge customers waiting it would help and not have 5 people chatting at the back, an empty counter and 12 customers waiting. All services are stretched and customer service is difficult but small changes would help customers feel supported when they are unwell or worried rather than the dismissive tone I have observed on repeated occasions.

Absolutely disgraceful service. Slow not professional and unhelpful. Every time I visit I am kept waiting . I ordered my repeat prescription had a message to say it was ready for collection. I was pleased with this as one of my medications had been adjusted and I wanted to start it straight away. However when I visited to collect there was only one item ready although I was given the copy of my prescription with all items listed. I was then told that the medications weren't ready. I repeated that I had received the text to say it was ready for collection I was poopoed and told to wait until I received the text!!!! This means another trip when it is finally ready and another few days without the correct dose of one of my medications. I am absolutely furious to be honest and when I eventually get my medications I will be changing pharmacy. The service is deplorable. I count myself lucky that although I am elderly I can manage to get there under my own steam but my worry is for all the poor souls who cannot access the pharmacy easily. Absolutely atrocious. The staff are unhelpful and spend more time chatting behind the scenes that working. would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone.

Blessie is absolutely amazing!
She was so friendly and helpful and I didn't even feel a thing or bleed after when she gave me my vaccine.

Very very bad service you need book a day off from work to get your medication from this pharmacy few people are working in but they look busy doing nothing stood at reception for 15min waiting for someone to ask for my medicines the guy came looked on system then told me we received the prescription today so we are looking into it I don?t understand why they ask you your Date of birth and name and full address in front other people!

busy, small team that isn?t in any rush ever. having a chat is better than serving customers

Slow service and it can get very busy during certain periods. Convenient location next to the doctors though.

Definition of incompetence. You can?t get an answer over the phone as no one picks up. Waiting times in the pharmacy was a queue of an hour, some waiting beyond that, to be told they have no record of prescriptions or haven?t got full prescriptions. Staff searching through boxes on the floor, complete disorganisation and appalling service.

Could get my prescription last week because the opening times on the were wrong. Came this morning, website and poster outside says open at 830, now 850 and still not open. Not good enough!

There is no reply to phone calls, no reply to emails - so I had to visit and queued behind thirteen other people to be told my son?s essential epilepsy medication had not arrived and they had no idea when it would do so. Since I can?t contact them there is no way to get an update other than by visiting the pharmacy waiting behind loads of other customers for an update.
I am looking into how to complain and will meanwhile try to change my pharmacy.
How an elderly person goes on with this situation is being me !

Have been using this chemist for more years than I can remember, and have never had a problem. Until Pharmacy+health took over in the old days you?d get a text to let you know when your prescription is ready, now if you?re luck you may get one. Best thing to do is phone them , get a straight answer then. When you go in it takes ages for someone to actually ask what you want and get served, not sure if it?s the new normal or before we were spoilt

Only a one star because wouldn't let me rate on zero.
There is absolutely no organisation skills in this place at all.
I witnessed people come in for medication who got told that they hadn't got it all in yet.
And this isn't my first negative experience with this place previous u have also been informed that medication will be ready to collect to get there and told it hasn't been ordered.
My experience today was just as bad the perscription for my son had been sent through to the pharmcy and whilst waiting to be served I left to call to the smaller pharmcy as required paracetamol for my son.
On returning the que was still the same not moving more consistent with ppl awaiting methadone, after waiting over 35 minutes an arriving at the front of the queue I got informed that my perscription wasn't there.
At this point I had to go back to the doctors who confirmed that the perscription had been sent to the pharmcy and printed of a copy.
I then returned to the pharmcy severd by somone elese, who took the script and screwed it up and placed it on the bin as he found the original online. ( THESE DETAILS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DISPOSED OF CORRECTLY FOLLOWING GDPR)
I don't understand how we lost so many pharmcys and end up with pharmcys like this,
This was an absolute discrace
