I have been working at helping hands for about 2 months now and it has been absolutely amazing here. I quit my previous job after maternity leave as I wanted more flexible working hours and helping hands have accommodated this. The management are absolutely incredible and staff are so lovely and kind. Would highly recommend this company whether that be working for them or for anyone who requires support at home.

Been at helping hands a couple of months now.The standard of care is extremely high its a hard job but extremely rewarding.Emma Maggie and Sarah ( managers) are always helpful they do ther le best to look after staff and clients.

I've been looking for a cerer work for a while and I came across opportunity to work at helping hands.I was worried at first, because I have never done anything like that before.But the ladys in the office were so sweet and supportive.If you are struggling during your shift you can call them any time and they will help you out with anything.Emma, Sarah and Meggie - thank you guys for being amazing!

Our care is outstanding, we are passionate about our roles, and we give 100% in all the care we give. We go the extra mile. Such a rewarding company with a brilliant well led management and office staff, that supportive no matter of the time of day. Not only is fabulous but delivers outstanding training, nvqs, knowledge and expertise to their staff. I wouldn't ever work for another company its like home from home and the dedication is pure. I have just recently joined the team of carers here at Helping Hands in Wakefield and I can honestly say it has been the best career move I could have ever made. The staff and support here is second to none, nothing is too much trouble.I found out about the company as they cared for my Grandpa, who also spoke so highly of them and all the carers. This made me want to join a team that cares so deeply about their staff and customers.Since joining the team I have had great training, as this is my first caring role, and amazing support throughout. I love going to work each day and meeting all the customers and supporting them in any way that we can. I highly recommended this company to anyone that needs extra support at home.

My experience of liaising with external providers of in-house care for my parents who live miles away has been mixed until I came across Helping Hands (Wakefield). The obvious measure of success is the quality and reliability of the carers at ?the coal face?, yet it would be remiss not to recognise the local management / back office staff and how they are empowered by their leadership team / organisation and processes.What has set aside Helping Hands from my previous poor experience is a combination of these three elements consistently for over 6 months. The ability to discuss with the local management about our needs (which have fluctuated) and their competence to adapt, finding the perfect carers has been relentlessly admirable, especially during the challenging events of 2021.I may be lucky to have found the best combination of people at Helping Hands Wakefield, yet with their network was also able to replicate the support when my parents visited me for a break with nearing exact standards. If Tim Lee needed a blueprint and ?went undercover boss?, he couldn?t go wrong by starting here!For context, one of my parents has advanced dementia whilst the other was not realising the burden of being their full time carer. The team have been able to delicately and sympathetically interact providing the support they desperately needed, for which as a family we are so grateful.

I had the good fortune of contacting Helping Hands Wakefield when my late wife was ill and unable to walk. The carers that looked after my wife were some of the nicest and helpful people I have ever met, they were courteous, efficient, and always cheerful even in difficult situations. I can recommend the Wakefiled team to anyone who needs care and I would like to thank them for their help and the help of the carers who often went above and beyond what was expected of them. And the office staff was also very helpful and set the package up in short notice.

We employ helping hands to support my father for half an hour each day from our experience I would describe them as outstanding. Communication is excellent they are quick to alert families of any concerns or to discuss any problems. They respond quickly to any changes required. Documentation is fantastic we know exactly what has happened during the visit including dad's mood or attitude that day and how he has responded to the carer. It is reassuring to know they visit at roughly the arranged time give or take having had previous experience of a care company who in spite of any agreement visits could vary by an hour or two Helping Hands are reliable. Bravo for how they continued to manage during the recent snowfall. Thank you Helping Hands
