Do NOT go early in the morning if you need to catch a train - woman who works there Monday and Tuesday open shift is awful - she is as slow as anything - was waiting 15 minutes while she dithered about making the slowest coffees - no multi-tasking skills at all. Huge queue and no other staff (who were on and I could see) were helping. The only good staff are the ladies over 40 who work there. Missed my train to work because the woman took so long on others? orders and my own. Waste of time. All for a not very good drink and cold pastries.

No sandwiches in store all week due to a fault ?
Opening hours are not adhered to. In store shows they close at 6.30pm during the week however most days they are locked up by 5pm and only open the doors for the station staff!

Small Greggs, convenient location at the train station, staff seems to be nice, but very SLOW service. This must me a Greegs theme in general. A lot of staff at this and other Greegs are quite slow. Usually one person serving, 2 at the back and a long queue. It supposed to be quick, bash bash and go, especially at the train station where you are most likely rushing to get the train.

What a joke just to get a coffee. I waited 13mins and there was me and 2 others waiting and then when I did get served the man got it wrong. I can?t drink milk so I asked for oat milk and he didn?t use it now I have stomach problems. Avoid avoid avoid

Greggs is great for warm sandwiches and pastries. It?s my husband?s childhood favourite. Their pastries are buttery and flaky. So delicious! They also have prepared cold sandwiches, wraps etc.This Greggs is located inside Wakefield Westgate Railway Station (outside the gate). Indoor and outdoor dining available. There is also a seating/waiting area for the station outside this place.It?s clean and tidy. Service was efficient. Staffs are friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: It?s located on the ground level.

Great food, great service and lovely staff. Couldn't ask for much more. I'd recommend the pepperoni pizza, they're so juicy and yummy. I often find myself having bad days more than often due to the fact I can't stick to my diet as I know this greggs will provide delicious food!

I went in to Greggs looking for something to try as it?s my first time being in the UK and wanted to experience the taste of the famous Greggs. I came in on the 19th February and a lovely young lady I think her name is Amani. She had such a lovely smile and great service and I told her it was my first time here in the Uk and trying a Greggs. I?m also Muslim and she gave me some great suggestions and recommendations based on what she liked as well. I was so happy with her service and making me feel so comfortable. My pasty (love that they call pastries a pasty) was nice and fresh and she suggested a drink from the greggs range as well I think it was raspberry and it was so nice. My first experience at a greggs a 10/10 and can?t fault the service

Sadly this review comes as a result of my negative experience.On 19/01/24, I arrived into Wakefield station just after 15:00, went to Greggs as I was hungry. I was deciding upon which ?sandwich? to get, hot or cold, so I asked more about the hot options. I believe the ladies name was Amani (she was a young trainee), initially the service was suitable as she let me know and even said that the cold ?Mexican sandwich could be warmed up?, which I didn?t know. So I asked ?if I opt for this cold sandwich but it?s warmed up, do you get a drink with it and it?s for the same price as the meal deal advert as it?s in the above section, not with the hot items like southern fried chicken baguette?, she said ?no?. It was after this the experience took a turn for the worse, I then said ?oh that?s strange I thought you?d still get a drink because it?s located with these sandwiches? and turned around?I looked back and Amani pulled a face which can only be described as judgemental and disapproving, it made me feel like I?d asked a stupid question as though she wanted to turn around and laugh with her colleague. And for that reason, the experience was poor. I did however enjoy said Mexican sandwich on the plus side.

I just watched a customer panic after ordering her food because she realised she had forgotten her purse.She was about to walk out of the door when a Greggs employee (a lady called Collette) called her back saying "please come back, you come in here every day, you can have your food on us today"The customer smiled, I smiled, I looked around the room, and the other 6 customers were smiling too.That may have cost Greggs a small amount of food but what that act is worth to the reputation of Greggs and the kind of people it employs, well that really is priceless.A beautiful moment of human kindness to start the day.

It?s an ok little greggs. The prices are more expensive and they often don?t have many bakes in. Good for a cheap coffee and a sandwich though.

Elaine the Blonde lady who works there was so rude towards us, telling us to move, even though we bought some food, she was getting really funny with us, my friend went back in to buy something else and she started getting cocky with him, so he just left and didn?t bother buying anything, very rude
