If I could I?d give curry?s Wakefield minus 5 stars would do!!
What a joke! Never know a business like it! Tonight me and my wife visited Wakefield branch (18/8/25) to be followed around the store like I was going steal everything then when I eventually found what I was looking for I was left standing at the empty tills for around 5 minutes. whilst three members of staff stood around looking at me waiting! Then a young man called Joe was asked/told to serve by the gormless staring staff, he then walked passed me like I wasn?t there! I then decided enough was enough! I left the products I was waiting to purchase on the tills to then be told ?he?d be 5 minutes and I needed to have more patience!!? Not sure of the woman?s name but she has short blonde/brown hair and a stinking attitude towards customers. Maybe if I was looking at spending £800+ in store they?d be more interested but as I was only spending £20 they didn?t have time of day for me! I?ll never visit this store again! I?ll be taking my money elsewhere!
Complete joke. Never again!

Went into Wakefield to buy a IPhone 16 pro , with a trade in and pay outright. So negative the staff. I asked them to confirm they could transfer the iPhone to the new iPhone, yes, but would charge £25 pounds . They did not mention this the day before. I asked how the eSIM transferred over?. You can?t I was positively told, and even checked with someone else. I would need to get a physical sim. I had the impression they did not know what they were on about. Anyway walked out, saved my self £40 buying from Costco. Did the transfer myself including the eSIM . Shame , I used to work at Dixons and Curry?s over thirst years ago. Staff now seem not bothered, don?t want to sell or help. Don?t even acknowledge you. Business must be good. The brand used to be brilliant, motivated staff who new there products. All they had to do was take my order and sell me a phone.

Went in 9am today, walked to back of store for an ink cartridge, then took the relevant card to cashier to get it. Stood there for several minutes while she counted her float ( should this not be done before store opens ). Whilst counting float she asks her colleague to get an epson 603 starfish, without checking which one. He came out with the pack, I said I only want black, so in the back they both go & came back out with an XL priced £43.99, I said it's £16.49 here. We only have this one in stock, if that's the case why have the card out for the lower priced one, her we have have to have them out.
They should put an out of stock label on if that's the case. Will be shopping round for them in future as this has happened before. Just checked Epson site sells this ink cartridge at £30.99.

I try not to go in the Wakefield store, simply because it takes an age to get someone's attention and then it seems like such a chore for them.
