Didn't catch her name but about a month back i stumbled over at 6:30 having stayed in the Travelodge over night in desperate need of a proper coffee and whichever lady had just come on shift made me the best cappuccino I've ever had. Rich smooth and creamy without any burnt tastes or bitterness. I can't say I drink a lot of Costa, just tends to be white I'm travelling, but I've had some terrible cups made before and this was just the thing I needed first thing in the morning

No actual crockery available to have a coffee in. If you are going to charge the amount you do for a mug of coffee, you need to realise you are selling an experience not just a coffee. This seems to happen a lot a motorway services as if you don't realise it matters.

On two different occasions, I have been served Latte with skimmed milk in smelly cup.Point one: it's the large cups that smell not drinks.Point two: you need to specifically ask for whole milk and manifest that throughout the process of making your latte. Otherwise, you will not get it.

Service was excellent and it was a pleasantly quiet motorway service stop.Parking: I pulled off the motorway and was surprised to see places available in multiple areas.

This is Acosta located inside the Motorway Services on the road to Southampton and the south coast.
As such, it is busy, but the staff do a good job of providing a friendly service as efficiently as possible and to a high standard.
The coffee as ever is excellent and my bacon bap was properly cooked and well presented.
Unfortunately, as the service station is in effect like a giant aircraft hanger, it is very difficult to maintain a good, friendly atmosphere, but they do try.
