Visited branch to sort out an app problem. I didn't have an appointment but I couldn't have asked for better service. From the staff on the ground floor, to the advisor who saw me upstairs. The problem was resolved and I was able to complete my transaction.I found the level of customer service and support exceptional and would like to add my thanks for all your help.

The staff here are absolutely brilliant. Friendly and always happy to help. Really went to great lengths to help me open an account urgently and access transferred funds the same day when I was in a very difficult position. The queues always move quickly and the staff are very efficient. Can't recommend them enough.

Came in to deal with late father's accounts. Was asked to wait upstairs where someone would see me. The same bloke came upstairs 30 minutes later to ask why I was there, then told me someone has an appointment so I'll have to wait (which is fair enough) however I'm not sure why he didn't tell me that in the first place. Been here 40 minutes at the time of posting. It's likely it'll be well over an hour before I'm seen. No other bank has been as poor as this. One woman on the desk for a major bank is dreadful. Every other bank I've been to has accommodated me right away.Update when I was eventually seen the lady that saw me was so lovely and helpful. This is a negative review of the actual bank. Not the lady who tended to me.

Shocking wait! This place is set up with plenty of automation to take your cash, but not enough staff to deal with customer queries. You can't keep blaming COVID! Get your act together Barclays.

These guys are always very helpful, but there is never anyone around. Had a simple question to ask, would have taken 10 seconds, but there was nobody available to ask it to and there was a counter queue with 20 people in it. Customer service face to face at Barclays is near non existent nowadays

Terrible service ? 14 people waiting to be served. Only 1 on cashier service,and 1 on servicing customers queries. Have never waited so long for service. Been 1hr already. Still waiting
