I went to buy some sudafed which contains ibuprofen in and I am asthmatic. I told the counter assistant I had asthma and she asked the pharmacist in the back and she said it was ok to sell me it because I had an inhaler. I ended up having to phone my mum to pick me up due to it triggered my asthma to flare up went to go speak to the pharmacist and she basically said it was my fault for taking it and if I can't breathe to go to hospital.

I have visited this pharmacy a number of times since it relocated round the corner in Asda ... I have no idea what has happened to the place. Many of the staff (when you see them because for a majority of the time the counter is unattended and they are in thr back !) are unhelpful often abrupt . Even a routine antibiotic will take 15 mins minimum to dispense . There are many drugs that they seem not to have in stock.As with other reviews I feel that one star is too generous...I would avoid using at all costs

Came in yesterday, on crutches I might add, clearly visible as there were only myself and another customer there. I came for help about a medication review and was completely ignored by 2 women talking right behind the counter then proceeded to walk to the back. I don't understand how people can be so unbelievably rude, it winds me up. I ended up just going home in the end cause I can't be bothered with ignorant people.

Very very rude patronising counter assistant. Today I was refused an ?over the counter? pack of KWELLS!I am a qualified nurse and wanted to buy a packet of motion sickness tablets, told I couldn?t purchase a packet from their pharmacy! I am so disgusted I can?t even rate this pharmacy. This review will not post without one star but in reality it?s NO stars. Your pharmacy has lots of very poor reviews with unhappy customers - now me included- and you seem to offer apologies but you not rectifying the poor service.

Ordered my repeat prescription via NHS app on 17th September, the prescription had been issued the same day. I went in today to pick it up 24th September...it will be ready in 15 minutes. Went back 15 mins later and it still wasn't ready. Last time it was the same scenario. How far in advance do you need to order if they can't get it done in 7 days. Changed my pharmacy.

I don't know whats going on, the service has become so poor here. Last week my Mum went for her repeat prescription, waited in massive queue only to be told they were behind and to come back in half an hour. Went back in half an hour, waited in huge queue again and they hadn't done it so waited another half an hour only to be told they only had half of the prescription so come back next week. Went back yesterday to be told it would be at least an hour. Only seemed to be 1 member of staff on. Mum is going to move pharmacy as soon as she gets the outstanding medicine.

Sandal Asda is unacceptable in dealing with repeat prescriptions. It's deteriorated badly since moving into it's new premises. Prescriptions are never ready even when you leave it a few days. I went to pick up an inhaler and they said it was out of stock and they could order on Monday. They had had the prescription several days and it should have all been sorted. Not good enough. I took my prescription back and took it to another chemist and have changed to a different pharmacy for my repeats. No I don't do Twitter or Facebook to send details. I have voted with my feet.

Absolute joke of a pharmacy. Wanted some eye drops for an infection that I knew was starting as I?ve had it many times before. These jokers said that because the infection wasn?t visible that I should see a doctor. (Doctor has always said to use the eye drops when they were only available on prescription). They would not allow me to buy the eye drops. Looks like I will wake up in the morning with conjunctivitis due to the very unhelpful and matter of fact person behind the counter. I thought we were supposed to know when we have a problem with our bodies. I know this problem and I know prevention is better than cure as I have done previously.Thank you Asda pharmacy for being so unhelpful.

This team is marvelous, so busy but always courteous and helpful. Unlike some patrons. I've tried prescription delivery services and a different online pharmacy but I've returned to asda chemist as there may be a wait to pick up my prescription but they are reliable.

Totally incompetent. Gave me the prescription back as they had no stock. I questioned that the prescription was a dispensing token and could this be used elsewhere? They clearly said yes it's ok to use. Just come to a pharmacy who stated they can not use it. Asda need to return it. On the phone now ringing and ringing with no answer. This is not what you need when a family is on end of life. Rang 12 times in total with no answer. Huge queue on arrival. Waiting 30 minutes. Rang the pharmacy whilst I was there to hear no telephone ringing. They've clearly turned this function off. They stated they had claimed and apologised. Its not good enough.

Rubbish service. Ordered my medication over a week a go as they recommend and it still hasn't arrived.What a joke of a pharmacy. What happens if people need that medicine on the day. If it's not here tomorrow I will be filing a formal report. This has gone on long enough.

After reading some horrible reviews I felt I had to say that these girls are working really hard to get everything done, they have always been happy and courteous even under considerable pressure, it?s obvious to me that Asda need to look at getting more staff in the Pharmacy then hopefully the bad reviews will disappear

Went to pick up repeat prescription and was told it would be 45 minutes. Went back after 50 minutes to be told it will be 30 minutes. Advised I had already been told 45 minutes and staff responded with "well its a lot of items" no apology no decent customer service. Advised I would return the following day. Went back in the afternoon and was told it will be 15 minutes because it still needs checking. This happens repeatedly. I watched staff being rude to other customers in the queue. If you want the staff to be treated respectfully then they need a lesson in customer service.

Absolutely ridiculous queued for one hour to pick up a prescription that had been ordered 8 days previously...this was the third attempt...the assistant was serving 1 customer disappearing out the back for 10 to 15 mins and then still telling them she'd check to see if they had received the prescription....meanwhile the queue was out of the door...I won't be ordering to this pharmacy any more
