Small, interesting menu and the best starter I?ve had in my life, possibly - black pudding with crayfish and beans. The decor is mad and brilliant. Definitely book for a Saturday night, it filled up soon after 7pm and the bar (which I assume is walk-in) is quite small.

One of the best pubs in the area. Always a friendly welcome and service, decent home cooked food, and local ales. I?ve never had a bad experience here. At a time when many pubs are struggling, this place consistently sets itself apart from others.

We had dinner here one night while staying in Todmorden and it was very cozy, nestled on a hill side in a warm bar and dining area with lovely old wood, antiques and original artwork. We started with the King Prawn thai style which was delicious followed by Fish & Chips and 12 oz. Rib Eye steak. I only gave four stars because for the price I really was underwhelmed by the taste and cut of the steak. It was a bit fatty and less than expected as a locally sourced meat. Other than that, service and friendliness of the staff was wonderful!
Food and drinks: Really a cut above some of the other restaurants in town! Warm & Cozy atmosphere.
