Small, interesting menu and the best starter I’ve had in my life, possibly - black pudding with crayfish and beans. The decor is mad and brilliant. Definitely book for a Saturday night, it filled up soon after 7pm and the bar (which I assume is walk-in) is quite small.

One of the best pubs in the area. Always a friendly welcome and service, decent home cooked food, and local ales. I’ve never had a bad experience here. At a time when many pubs are struggling, this place consistently sets itself apart from others.
