DisappointingWe had been meaning to visit for some time and finally arrived there on Friday only to find we could not enter with our dog.On the door it states dogs must be carried or placed in a trolley. Our dog is 9 stone. I am unable to carry him or lift him into a trolley (he would not fit anyway).I have never come across this before as we are allowed to take our dog in all the other garden centres we regularly visit.Very strange............Edit, have been a few times now without my dog and must say we do like to visit, nice place and lots to browse. Updated to 4 stars.

Went today with my dad. Ordered a Jacket potato with cheese at £8.50. The tinest amount of cheese came with the potato so i asked for a little extra only to be told I'd have to pay more on top of the extortionate £8.50 price for extra cheese! Come on guys what's going on??? I asked for a refund and rather than offer me a little extra cheese the woman just gave me a refund then would of had to throw the food away! You've just lost a long established customer.Very poor.

The garden centre staff are always kind and helpful. There is such an enormous choice and sectioned out well.We were very disappointed with the Mediterranean chicken meals today, and left it. Veg too... the sandwich was good my colleague said. The restaurant staff were lovely and did reheat my veg as it was cold on arrival but even then I couldn't eat it. Maybe a one off ?

Really good selection of plants, medium aswell as plenty of other stuff. There is a chap in there who I always pick his brains and he?s very knowledgeable and happy to give advice.I?ve noticed quite a big aquatic area although that?s not my area of interest
