Over the past year we?ve dined in multiple times and also had food delivered multiple times and the food is always amazing and the staff are always nice and professional. We?ve tried all similar restaurants in the area and The Village is by far the best for quality and consistency.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with the set meal!
The food was incredibly delicious ? full of rich flavors and cooked to perfection.
We especially enjoyed the variety in the starters and mains; every dish was bursting with taste.
You could really tell the ingredients were fresh and prepared with care.
The hospitality was outstanding ? the staff were so kind and welcoming, constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed.
It made the whole experience even better.
We felt truly looked after.
Highly recommend this place ? can?t wait to come back!

Hi Have already written a review this evening Saturday 14th June.
Place was shambolic. Untidy , floor littered with food, cutlery, drinks glasses.
My wife's food was not what she ordered ( sauce was tart and vinegary)
.
Decided to finish meal and take my dish and her chicken ( without sauce) home.
But for whatever reason ( despite manager hearing and agreeing our request) waiter binned our takeaway.
We were visiting from Glasgow and had been to village before with lovely meals and service.
But this time was a shambles.
Will be down in Sowerby Bridge in July, but will likely go back to Shyhiba.

Went here with friends last night and we had the set meal for 4. The food was delicious, and they had no worries with us swapping one dish either. Service was excellent, reasonable prices too. Will definitely go again.

2nd time we've been and took a friend who's already booked for this Saturday.
The food quality and choices are excellent and the prices are very reasonable, taking your own drink makes it very inexpensive . Mixed meat starter for two is a sizzling feast. If you like a large soft authentic chapati or nan to go with your excellent curry the Village is the place to go. ???

Twenty lads held there re arranged Xmas cheer fishing match today ,followed by a prize presentation and some wonderful food by the village staff , we were looked after from arrival to departure . Many thanks to the staff for our st down meal . Terry Ryburn angling club general secretary.

Great food. Good service. The atmosphere was okay. I was the only meat eater in our party of eight and the others seemed happy with the vegetarian dishes on offer. Would recommend.

The food was delicious and the setting was comfortable and classy. Took the waiter ages to get the bill back to us. Otherwise, spot on.
