This is a classic pub in the heart of a proper ancient Yorkshire village. The people, the drink and the ambience were exactly what we had been hoping to find on our visit to the north. Lovely village pub, very welcoming, lovely pub garden. Unfortunately doesn't do food, but we still enjoyed our visit.
