The doctors and nurses have always been really lovely once you manage to get an appointment but the practice is constantly let down by the admin/front of house team. Twice they have failed to send my prescription to the pharmacy with no apology or explanation. So difficult to get through on the phone, always have to chase up results otherwise you never get them. Reception team are very cold and unhelpful, they don't even look up from their screens, really rude. Parking is an absolute nightmare as their car park is for staff only.

Please stay away from this surgey.Waited for over an hr for someone to answer my call, you can never get through to the receptionist. If you are lucky to enough to get connected then she won't have much information to help.My private GP sent 3 urgent refferals which the said that they never received. What a joke

Got a text asking if I could attend an appointment In half an hours time rushed to get there arriving 5 mins late. Automatic check in wasn't working so waited at reception for over 10 mins (a woman in front of me complaining about a missingprescription) Was then refused to be seen. Fuming

This place is a disgrace. I had to call them for 3 months to get myself set up on their online system so I can order my medication online, by myself and on time. Needless to say, in the mean time I have ran out of medication because they failed to make a follow up call to review my current situation and my contact requests were ignored for days.I rang last week with different issue - I had severe cold symptoms, I was in pain, with extramely sore throat and barely able to speak - they refused to book an actual appointment for me. The receptionist aka doctor with no qualifications told me to go to speak to a pharmacist! 9 days on, I have the same symptoms still, cannot function or work and all they do is tell me to take paracetamol. How on earth they call themselves a surgery? Emergency appointments only? What is even that? It's a GP, not an A&E. I will not leave it like this, rest assured I'm making an official complaint and I will definitely take it further. You're the reason health care in this country is appealing, there are no people wanting to be doctors and hospitals are overcrowded as you're refusing to provide basic medical care to people who are ill and pay taxes and your wages. I requested an appointment, which I never do, and requite your care maybe once a year, yet I'm not getting it.Shame on you.

Disgusting the way the operator just spoken to me while distress. She needs to do some training because clearly doesn?t understand people have mental health issues, that was the final straw and pushed me over the edge.

Really helpful staff and doctors. Never had an issue with getting to speak to someone. Any issues are dealt with quickly.

I never bother Drs I can't remember last time I went. I have had a ear infection. Sat on the phone for a appointment for 45 mins, said they'd ring me back. No show. Next day same said they'd ring back again....sent a patronising YouTube video link on how to clean your ears.Rang them back again after yet another queue.Said they'd ring me back.I actually am disgusted. Pretty amazing how receptionist are trained doctors now

I have been registered with Station Road Surgery for many years and I have never experienced anything other than exceptional care.Only this morning I had to call as I thought I may need a course of antibiotics, got through quickly, receptionists are lovely, within 2 hours a doctor had called me and after a discussion, antibiotics prescribed and I can pick them up same day.Really good Doctors Surgery.

I am writing this email in complaint to the lack of service from your doctors surgery and the lack of knowledge from your receptionist's at the Surgery. On Thursday 19th October 2023 I brought some medical forms into the Surgery for signing needing these forms to be completed for work purposes. I appreciate that this carries a fee due to being private work, I was told that the Fee would be £35.The day after I received a text message to say that I needed to pay £75 due to an error by the receptionist, an extra cost of £40 that I did not have at the time.I rang the surgery and spoke again to a receptionist, I was told that the forms could be collected and payment made upon collection.Due to the fact that I had to wait for my wage to enter my bank account and give me the extra £40 due to the error by your reception I could not collect the forms until Monday 30th October. I attended the surgery on Monday 30th to be told that the forms are not ready and it would be noted for the first job that the manager will look at on Tuesday 31st October. At around 12.00 noon on Tuesday 31st October I phoned the surgery to be told that the forms will now not be ready until Wednesday 1st November 2023 and could actually take upto 28 days yet another piece of information that was not passed to me on my first visit on Thursday 19th October 2023.So your surgery passed me wrong information on Thursday 19th Regarding the cost, then on the phone call regarding the fact that the forms were ready and payment could be paid upon collection and then to be mislead again on Monday 30th October when i was told it would be the first job for the manager on Tuesday 31st October when this was not the case. Never mind the fact I was never told about the fact it could actually take 28 days. This makes me wonder, does your reception staff actually provide and take the right information from patients when booking medical appointments. I certainly feel now that the incompetence of your staff actually leaves patients at risk. What other information are they missing when people are ringing up or coming into the surgery.I will make contact again Wednesday 1st October 2023 and if the medical forms are not ready I will be seeking a refund and will move myself and family to another surgery.

As much use as a chocolate fire guard. Receptionists can?t be bothered and want you off the phone as quickly as possible. ?Oh physio will ring you at 11?, no phone call. Ring up again, ?oh they will call before 13:30? still nothing. Then they deny all knowledge of saying this.Absolute joke. Can?t believe people are getting paid to provide this level of appalling service to be honest.Edit: Dr Akhtar is very helpful and follows up with promises in terms of callbacks, so there are some positives.

I have only been back from Manchester since June, but I have had nothing but a good experience from this Surgery so they must have made improvements since the last review. Whether it is that, or my experience in Manchester was so dire that this place seems amazing. I had a bit of a health scare this weekend and the Surgery dealt with it so thoroughly to the point that 2 doctors were present and a chaperone, I was in the surgery for 45 mins and it turned out to be something treatable, not what I was scared about, Kudos to doctor Budd for being so patient with me and Dr Kazi for overseeing. Whatever the issues have been in the past they are obviously trying to improve. I wanted to share my experience as I don't like to see negative reviews.

Should be 0 starts!!! Absolutely shocking treatment of patients. Would rather you use A&A or 111 than treat patients. No need for receptionists and they just tell you to fill online form. Over a week and still not further with getting to see doctor for prescription. Avoid at all costs if you value your health.
