The worst takeaway Indian I have ever had. I ordered online with no indication of time the order would take, when we'd pressed order it said it would be 70 minutes, fine if that was correct. The food eventually turned up after almost 2 hours and having to ring up to find out where it was. The starters were cold and inedible and had to be thrown away. Mains were slightly better, although the Rogan Josh looked radioactive in colour and nothing like any Rogan Josh I've had before, another dish that wasn't particularly hot and the chicken was tough. The naan bread tasted shop bought and not home made, again was cold and totally inedible. Definitely not somewhere I would ever order from again, I'd rather have no food than this rubbish

I had a disappointing experience at Kiplings Indian restaurant in Silver Bay Bridge, Halifax, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts to inform others. While the food may have the potential to be good, the service and overall atmosphere left much to be desired.
I placed an order for home delivery, and the wait time turned out to be an excruciating hour and 20 minutes longer than expected. Despite my repeated attempts to reach out to the restaurant for updates, I was met with rudeness rather than any form of customer care. There was no apology for the delay, and I felt dismissed rather than valued as a customer.
It?s frustrating to see a restaurant with such potential fail to deliver on the service front. While I can?t comment on every dish, the experience left me with a strong impression that customer service is simply not a priority here.
I advise anyone considering ordering from Kiplings Sowerby Bridge to do so at their own risk. Good food might be on the menu, but the service is sorely lacking. If I could rate the customer service as zero, I would. It?s unfortunate, as a restaurant?s success hinges not just on the quality of food, but also on how they treat their customers.

Had a take out sunday night thought we'd try it after reading the award for best restaurant 1989 and my god we wasnt disappointed it was actually the nicest food ever and the staff and service was second to none very friendly and up for the banter... unfortunately she forgot to ring us a taxi ??? so the best driver 1995 had to take us ??? by the way the King prawns were stunning but didnt do the job ???

Had the Early Bird menu (4.30pm to 8.00pm). A starter, a main and a sundry (rice, naan, etc) for £14.95. A draught Cobra was £4.45. Food was delicious, I enjoyed the beer and the service was excellent. Well worth a visit.

Traveled from cross gates to try kiplings got to say one of the best friendly staff good food .we had the meal deal plenty to choose from.the manager was very welcomeing jokes not too bad but if you like Indian food give it a go thanks for the entertainment ? will be back
